They had the option to keep Myles and just hope everyone stayed basically the same by the time Tyrese got back (would've been dumb, but whatever). Obviously the didn't go that route.

With Myles gone, the rest of the roster is still over the cap going into next year. That means the only non-trade, non-draft option they have to replace Myles is the NTPMLE, which is the same thing they've got now. In order to get under the cap and actually have money to try and by able to sign a guy, they've got to move Pascal for expirings and picks

The east is ****ing lit

6 or 7 teams can probably win the conference and the team that was ahead at halftime of game 7 won’t even make the playoffs and should probably blow it up

The Nuggets will actually have a bench next season. They added Bruce Brown, Jonas Valancinas and Tim Hardaway JR. Having a solid back up center to give Jokic some rest will be huge. Julian Strawther, Jayden Picket and Peyton Watson are all talented and getting better.

Knicks won't win the East unless they get a great coach.

The Bucks could still trade a future first-round pick in either 2031 or 2032 as they search for a new point guard.

I would like to see Siakam on the Hornets.

Cam Johnson is so much better than Porter and much cheaper. This is an enormous move by the Nuggets. They are back in legit contention to win it all.

They need a playable wing, not a starting point guard. Kuzma is legitimately one of the worst players in the NBA.

I think KPJ/Trent is a solid backcourt with Giannis/Turner up front. Figuring out the other starting wing is definitely the issue. They have a grab bag of suitable bench wings in Andre Jackson Jr, Taurean Prince and Gary Harris, but none of them inspire a ton of confidence as a starter. Either way, hopefully Kuzma is dumped or sees approximately zero important minutes. Bucks may just platoon that position if they can’t make another acquisition.
