THE BEAUTIFUL BUDGET

THE BEAUTIFUL BUDGET

I don't think it's very beautiful, from what I've heard about it.

No need to increase the military budget, let alone a la

The whole squad is elevated because vs the median american voter the squad IS EXTREMIST.

AOC might have national chances if the country moves to the left for real in preferences. For now, it doesn't seem to do that.

AOC has a chance if she drops the squad.

They're intentionally destroying the US economy to sell more bonds? They're intentionally bankrupting US to prepare for war? How does that make sense? They want us to lose the war? I don't follow any of this. If we don't cut taxes and increase spending, we'll be in a better position to mobile for war.I really can't wrap my head around this. You claim they're intentionally destr

I get it but that's not how wars play out. It's all relative. We did essentially the same in WWII so we could actually destroy the axis economies. It's winner take all. And usually the loser loses because they can basically no longer feed themselves and make the arms/ammo to keep fighting. The US has been unrivaled in that capacity since; with one exception: the USSR in the 80s. The US responded with

and that along with other imperialist costs broke the Soviet economy, not their less efficient supply chain. Now with China posing a threat to US hegemony we have the AI-Drone Wars. I don't actually know that's the 'why?' but it fits.

Now they're intentionally destroying the economy for secret AI-drone wars? Your brains are mush. No wonder we're here. An easier explanation is what's being done openly since 2008. It's a lot easier than conspiracy theories. These people are thieves who don't care about tomorrow.

I used to think the same way until I learned that they're not people. They're reptiles that look like people. Unfortunately I learned that after I got the covid vaccine, which I've since learned will alter my mammal dna and turn me into one of them. So I'm in bit of bind here.

My wife and I were discussing the bill last night and she, like any normal person, is upset at how terrible the bill is in every measurable way. "How could they pass this knowing they're harming their constituents?" Umm honey, this bill was passed last November 5th. It's what the people think they want.

LOL. I just posted exactly the same thing in NVG. Something very close to this bill was an inevitable consequence of Trump winning the White House and Republicans getting control of both houses of Congress.

gg USA#1

it was a good run

Interest costs will be over $2 trillion a year by end of Trumps term. More than all military and social security spending combined. It's an apocalypse that will devastate both parties. MAGA will take the a lot of blame but progressives are going to become persona non grata in the Democratic Party, both will be fighting to avoid supplantation by new third party alternatives.

I pr

Historically, over last hundred years federal government has average paying between six and 7% annual interest on the debt. There is no way that our interest rates can remain below that range with the highest debt to GDP in the nations history. We’ll be lucky if interest rates only go to 7% but even there that’s nearly 3T a year in interest.

Having a great rack can't make up for economic policies that have repeatedly failed ever since Marx put them to paper.

Delightful. I really hope this guy becomes a reg. 🙄

I don’t know what made it in from the first but when Large Marge made her grandstanding about how if she knew the AI provision was in the bill she wouldn’t have voted for it, did that end up in the final bill that she voted for?

Cuz if so, I mean come the **** on, isn’t this just parody at this point?

It's mind boggling how many Republicans said the bill was bad during this process but voted for it anyway.

Listen, I know you guys like to meme on MAGA, but if this thing blows up in the spectacular fashion that you think it will, those people are going to revolt.

There's an old meme from Dota that you think might apply here:

But the reality of the situation is that for every person who complains and then continues to eat ****, there will be 100 who lose their ****.

Americans are soft in 2025. Trump is still as popular as he is specifically because he hasn't really broken anything yet. You guys have made a lot of mountains out of a lot of molehills, but most people are doing just fine.

Trump has broken a lot that won’t be felt because it mainly centers around the things that make our system work that a lot of people don’t know much about.

I just read that thread, and you stated it much more eloquently. Also reminded me that I don't like NVG.

Yep yep yep

But just a reminder this will be the Dems’ fault when this blows up in everyone’s faces

And the same rubes who voted for the people that ripped their balls off will be convinced of this and will vote for the same people who will do it again

considering that this bill seems to be polling in the -20 to -30 range, it isn't. a clear majority don't want this. it was obvious this is what the republicans were going to do, but a certain % of ppl didn't understand or believe that. ah! well. nevertheless,

That's why I used the word "think." The media the MAGAs consume probably didn't tell them anything about the bad things that were going to occur but were happy to tell them brown people bad, Kamala bad, people that want equality bad.

I think you absolutely lost the right to say ‘this isn’t what I voted for’ when:

1. Everyone opposing trump warned you exactly what was coming, which you obviously dismissed as hyperbole but has also come and
2. The administration justifies every wildly unpopular position they have with Sean spicer but with a penis telling everyone ‘this is what the American people voted for. This is the mandate we received’

Sucks to suck I guess

the cope is that this bill is terrible, but still better than going full socialism.
