? I'm not getting the connection here. And the clothed turtle?

I can help you translate the image.

Here's the translation of the German text in the image:

Top banner:

SOMMER SONNE SICHERHEIT = SUMMER SUN SAFETY

Du hast das Recht an deinem eigenen Körper! = You have the right to your own body!

Speech bubble (left):

STOPP! = STOP!

GRABSCHEN VERBOTEN! = GRABBING FORBIDDEN! (This specifically refers to unwelcome touching or groping)

Text at the bottom:

Niemand darf dich ohne dein Einverständnis einfach anfassen. = No one is allowed to just touch you without your consent.

Wenn du dich unwohl fühlst, hast du das Recht dir Hilfe zu holen! = If you feel uncomfortable, you have the right to get help!

Sag meinen Namen: Tiki! = Say my name: Tiki!

Yeah it was a global pandemic and such measures played a part in ensuring we didn't have a Spanish flu level death toll.

Shutting down businesses and churches for months was the problem.

States like Florida thrived (relatively speaking) being far less Draconian than California.

The good news is that the courts agreed that Newsom had overstepped his authority.

I have trouble comparing a politician trying to protect people to one actively shitting on people.

The challenge "what's the worst possible reaction to mamdami to help him gain more votes even you are right of the merits" has just being won

Their lives and their pocketbooks are 2 different things. Plenty of billionaires around big pharma and the mic etc or did the right forget they hate all of those things again?

We've seen enough history to know if they want to try to speedrun the guillotines that's a choice they're making willingly 😀

What % of the total wealth do you think so few people should be entitled to? Pick an actual number. 99? At what point does Freedom for everyone else become a meaningless concept?

Cheers thanks for that. Germans seem kinda weird.

You think that's what was happening? Gavin Newsome was at a restaurant while his state was locked down. He did a poor job of protecting himself, eh?

Over my way it was non essential businesses and you don't need to go to church to pray.

Anyway, this was my city during that time. Was really surreal going into work, although I only had to go in around once a fortnight but was still pretty weird.

It was a fundraiser for the Dems, so it's fine.

And Nancy Pelosi got her hair done in a nice salon. But she was the Speaker of the House, so it was all good.

addendum: To their credit, lots of Dems condemned the brazen hypocracy as well.

and AOC went to Florida when NYS / NYC had strict mask mandates during the terrrrrrible omicron wave, and she had drinks and went to parties having fun without masks

In California Liquor stores were considered an "essential business."

Of course, one doesn't need to go to church to pray. Church is about much more than that.

Anyway, the good news is that the courts agreed that Newsom overstepped his authority by shutting down churches. One of those 'separation of church and state" thingys I guess.

not sure you understood my post, I am saying that the optics of claiming "billionaire lives matter" are terrible even if it's a just cause.

my answer on the topic has already been given more than once: ut never stops with the billionaires. never.

because the real societal envy isn't toward people you never interact with even if you see some flashes of their "impossible" lifestyles here or there.

the real societal envy is toward your boss, your ex colleague who 10 years later makes 3x what you do, your physician who cuts your appointment short then drives away in a 160k car and so on.

leftists want to even the playing field with those people they relate, they interact with, who just have everything a tad better than them. that's who they want to take stuff from , that's who they want to punish because they feel they are like them

if you believe democrats wanted to "protect people" I have a 60 bln railroad project in California to sell to you

She's a celebrity so it's all good.

It's only ordinary folks that have to follow the rules.*

*and that is a non-partisan observation

it should be partisan because republicans reopened everything far sooner , which means that under duress in one of the most panicky situation in peacetime in history republicans behaved exceptionally better than democrats, in one of the fundamental questions of the last decades that touches the cornerstones of civilization, freedom, the role of the state, everything that matters.

it was the trial of philosophical ideas of what to do when **** hit the fan and republicans behaved better than most other people across the first world.

that cannot be forgotten for as long as we love and everyone who defended and accepted COVID absurdities has to be forever discarded in any public converstabout any political topic as utter subhuman trash and viceversa anyone who had the intuition to pick freedom above everything else has to be rewarded for that as long as he lives.

it's rare to get such a clear cut test of moral character among politicians and political parties. and democrats failed miserably proving they are indecent people unworthy of ever holding office ever again

right-wing parties were as disgusting as democrats in various countries (UK, Australia).

We already had 1 version of the ~10% owning ~90% and we changed it with policy etc. That led to the era a hell of a lot of the maga peeps think of when they say maga. Unfortunately for them their betters were thinking about the period just before that 😀

Quite strange to see cities with no movement. Unsettling one might say.

You can pray at home, no doubt, but a lot of the benefits of churchgoing are simply interacting with other people. For a lot of older folks it's their only time to mingle with others. They don't sit alone and type their opinions over the interwebs to strangers, much like people we might know.

Keeping everyone locked up in the early stages of Covid did make sense to me, I'm not gonna play genius in hindsight and go on and on about how rights were trampled from the start. But when 2 months later, it's ok to have hundreds of thousands of protesters side by side b/c the 7 forms of invisible racism trump life and death, and yet kids can't go to school.... something doesn't add up.

Hey what happened to your Shogun Assassin avatar?

We try something new on and see how it fits

Cub was iconic though he may come back

Well 2 months later school was out for the summer, so that's probably what didn't add up.

In other news, Germany is experiencing a massive amount of sexual harassment cases in public pools (obviously the vast majority of such cases are non-ethnic german men harassing ethnic german women).

this is the government reaction to that

Leaflets and posters showing red haired white women harassing brown men sexually in the water.

This is what we are fighting against.

This is from the swimming pool in buren.
It's not the governement as far as I know.

Local gvmnt yes you are right.

Do you agree it's disgusting and indefensible to depict the ethic German woman as the perpetrator when it's overwhelmingly the non German ethnicities that do the harassment in those pools, against the ethnic German women?

It looks like it made the rats reveal themselves, kinda hit the point.

ethnic German women... bro you are getting more unhinged by the minute.

Who would be the rats, people who correctly identify that immigrants sexually harass natives disproportionately?

What's unhinged in claiming something that is objectively true, and heinous, and one of the many reasons why immigration should be far more selective, and people who want unlimited immigration are directly causing natives to be sexually harassed en mass?

I don't think this poster is smart, neither you painting it as a governement issued poster, that resulted instantly in one other poster saying the germans are weird.

In other news, Poland is sending the army to it's borders with Germany and Lithuania to keep illegals attempting to cross the border out

It's always whites harassing minorities even when the data is objectively the opposite. It's truly insane.
