Data about italians propensity to crime should be weighted against other potential pros, with weights decided democratically by voters, and decisions be made by elected representatives according to the will of the people in regards to what to do with italians. Maybe only allowing center-north italians would be a good solution, or only italians that can pass advanced english tests, or anything else you decide to come up with including barring all italians from entering.

Not wanting to euthanize your olds isn't a marxist plot. That's the driver: Western countries drop in fertility rates. The West needs more workers than the native population is providing to support what is essentially an exponentially increasing aging population. Even without all Trump's doings things aren't looking all that great in the US either. We used to count on the high first and second generation immigrants coming up from the south higher fertility rates but that's dropped as well. The robots are going to help but their net contribution isn't that high since we need workers to build them.
