Two rules I'm implementing in every draft I enter.

1. Only taking 2 QBs unless I can get the 3rd QB past ADP.
2. Flipping a coin before the draft starts. If it's heads, I'm drafting at least 1 Phin, and 0 if it's tails.

General question- dynasty players, what do we do about someone who constantly sends trade offers that aren't even close to fair?

The most recent trade offer:

I receive Pollard and a 3rd rd pick this year (rookie draft is next month).

He gets Worthy and a 4th.

I am not looking to compete this year and while I need rb help, I'm not trying to trade away young wrs for rb help. It just seemed like a very dumb deal on my end. I'd like to tell him to stop sending me trade proposals.

Last season he offered Diontae Johnson (while on the Ravens, right before he was cut), and a 3rd, for AJB, and said it was fair. Ugh. Either he thinks I'm dumb or he just tries to rip me off every time.

I don't know him personally, so I don't care what he thinks of me. It's just annoying dealing with this garbage.

If it’s really annoying you , you can prolly block him .

I'd start spamming bad offers back lol. It's not generally a tactic I like to take, but in situations where the offers are repetitively bad it's warranted. Maybe he'll stop trying to do deals with you if he thinks you're only willing to accept unfair deals in your favor.

Did you crush him like you did Kerrane?

Ya you're in business if the rookies hit. Henderson looks especially nice when you see Swift right after and Warren not far behind. And then a lot of high upside contingent guys. The only thing I don't think is AR as QB2.

Meh. Had someone take JJM even though I had half the Vikings. So I pivot to Love, and somehow the guy on Auto snipes Kraft (8 ahead of ADP) and then Doubs (21 ahead of ADP).

Nothing tilts me more than stacks being thrown off in ridiculous ways like that lol.

I think I prefer 3 TEs over 9 WRs, but it looks good. Maybe Musgrave over Savion?

Justin must have made a mistake to end up with unstacked Purdy. At least he has 2 Bears, but it’s still not ideal.

Surprisingly Musgrave was already off the board. Agree on the Purdy selection. Not sure what happened there. He could've easily pulled up Maye over Najee and would've had plenty of stacking options.

I've done that. He also told me if I don't want Pollard he could "probably take Worthy for a 3rd" like he was doing me a favor. Seriously want to post his trade offers in the group chat and see who thinks they're fair. Lol

I wonder if elite QB is better or worse in total points.

On the one hand, the top 4 QBs should finish top 5 at the position which also makes them the highest scoring fantasy players, barring injury.

On the other hand, I wonder if it’s better to try to hit a league winner in that part of the draft and fill QB points with 3 later QBs that have upside to be top 5-10 at the position.

I've been drafting more elite QBs and elite TEs on Drafters. The only thing I'm not sure about in total points is if it's good, bad, or neutral to have any W17 stacks since there's no playoffs.

You definitely don't need to worry about w17 stacks or any type of opposing correlation. If you wanted to add a miniscule edge for opposing correlation, you could do some division stacking.

I can see arguments both ways for elite QB and elite TE in total points. On the one hand, it's nice to have the highest scoring player at those positions. On the other hand, you only need one to hit your lineup each week, and the opportunity cost of passing on WRs/RBs that also have a good chance to be top 5 scoring at their position could be a hinderance. Especially with the way QB/TE can be filled with quantity later on in the draft.

I'd probably build all strategies if I was firing those contests at volume.

UD updated their browser interface. It's going to take a little getting used to, but they finally got rid of the stupid scroll bar to view the list of contests. Now you can click on actual arrows that make it way easier to scroll, so that's a nice added feature.
