Is The Epstein Pivot That Big A Deal
How much of the original allegations are actually now denied? Is it not possible that the only thing that has changed is
Iβm just playing devilβs advocate. But the Trump rape tape pardon would not have state laws attached, and also pretty sure he would be impeached. So your logic doesnβt hold.
Epstein island was in the american virgin islands. The Governor (with power of pardon) was a democrat. Democrats could have unleashed the full power of the state pardoning all involved democrats at the territory and federal level

oh, here's another one; the "raw, unedited" video they released to convince everyone there's no funny business going on, was in fact edited. poorly
lol

Almost all people would find this abhorrent. Even those that don't wouldn't do it. It always comes around that the other side can do it to you.
Well that is pretty ****ing disgusting
Itβs fake fyi
What Jeffrey Epstein did in real life was basically what the character Littlefinger did in Game of Thrones.
He catered to the kinks of the powerful brutes of the world.
People should not be disillusioned about the morality of the powerful. They got where they are by being ruthless predators. Bill Clinton is a rapist who put a cigar inside Monica Lewinsky.. Donald Trump grabbed ''em by the p****. JFK had sex interns. Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby.
These people see themselves as gods who are above the law.
Other humans are no different to them than a cow is to a person who likes steak. Just a piece of meat for them to dominate. Power is their aphrodisiac.
People can like steak and still also appreciate cows fwiw.
My whole twitter timeline is right wingers like Tucker getting outraged over not being allowed to see the Esptein files, mostly blaming Israel/Jews.
On face value it seems they are trying to get Trump, and probably other prominent Republican political leaders and captains of industry, in a scandal by forcing him to give up the files and show they are in them. Which makes little sense.
But I think they are actually playing a level higher than this. They know Trump is not going to give up the files no matter what. So this gives them a free shot to blame it all on Israel/Mossad/Jews and just ignore the part where Trump is likely blocking things because they would incriminate himself.
The Republican Party is going to have an antisemitism existential crises.
Can’t froth your base up on conspiracies that often distill down to “the Jews” then get in bed with Israel and cut off your base
They tried a pathetic redirect trying to create an “illegal children trafficked to work at pot farm” story by sending ice military style into what looks to be a strawberry farm
Trump has enough force of personality to just ignore the worst rhetoric of Tucker, Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens, etc. and keep the party together. But it is hard to imagine the Republican Party not completely falling apart when he is gone.
The technocratic business class elites (Jamie Dimon, Musk, Thiel, Ackman, etc.) are going to want to have nothing to do with these bigoted anti-growth clowns once Trump is gone.
The country really does seem to be the Democrats for the taking as long as they dont go full left wing extremist.
I am as critical of far left wing progressivism as anyone; but if Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon are going to be spokesmen and thought leaders for the Republican Party moving forward, it will be a cold day in hell before I vote for anyone associated with them.
My social media feed right now is Tucker Carlson clips arguing we should be sending Navy Seals to clear out strawberry farms.
No thanks.
no way. not as long as they continue sending weapons and helping with the mass murder that Israel does. by the current definition, its impossible to be antisemitic while supporting Israel. what was the recent quote about shylocks and Trump?

Trump was always adamantly pro Israel , one of the few things he never flipflopped about. "antiwar" isolationists hate that but they are also nativists so they get enough from the deportations not to jump ship. And they love the dismantling of DEI , and triggering the liberals in general. What are they going to do, vote for the democrats who are the literal opposite of everything they believe in? people they think are demons incarnated? lol.
And on the right it's not like on the left. People are more rational when it comes to power, so they do vote regularly for what they feel like the less worst option. This is why on the right you can simply not give a **** about people who disagree from the right about something, be it Israel or high deficits or anything else (including extremist anti-abortion stances), because at the end they will vote for you anyway.
I understand you guys would love to see republicans fractured as much as democrat voters are. And there are disagreements among republicans, on many things including which level of immigration to have among many other.
But one thing everyone agrees with is that democrats are the enemy and beating them is more important than everything else.

This is why it's very important for republicans to talk about people like mamdani and representing them as the stereotypical democrat. And it won't be hard to find extreme radicals here and there in places that are perma-blue. The strategy will be to talk incessantly about them to generalize the perception democrats are incredible extremists.
I don't think democrats have a counter to that, even if many governors try to be moderates, there will always be enough radicals winning primaries somewhere that republicans can point to as the stereotypical democrat, and what democrats "truly are" when they are unchecked.

If the Republican Party goes full isolationist, anti-trade, anti-growth is this even true?
I think most sane Republican business people care more about a strong economy than biological males in girl's locker rooms.
And MAGA economic policy seems just as bad as progressive leftism, just from a different direction.

Not sure what you mean with this question. Currently they aren't isolationist nor anti-growth. They are playing ball with trump obsession with tariffs, but only because it's being litigated in courts.
IEEPA use to set tariffs is being litigated with the admin losing the first round. It could take some time yet but it's fairly plausible all IEEPA-based tariff shenanigans will be canceled by courts (that would mean almost all new trump tariffs), with maybe some exceptions linked to China and a few other countries the admin at least attempted to make a case for under emergency rules.
So why upset trump that could destroy you in primaries? play ball knowing courts will very probably put the end to the random tariff setting worldwide (again, not with China. But like Biden and Trump did before, other laws have to be used to set those tariffs and a rationale has to exist otherwise courts can intervene).
MAGA trade economic policies are baddish but deregulation and tax cuts aren't bad at all, we aren't even in the ballpark of the damage someone like Warren or AOC could do. The most insane MAGAs are still exceptionally better for the economy than anyone actually on the economic left could ever be.
Shitposter Lucy has clocked in for yet another day of posting divisive word vomit
Enjoy!

They'll figure out a way to screw it up. They'll nominate someone who is the exact opposite of Trump. You know what that means. This will reunite the MAGA base against a common enemy.

We have untold amounts of data that prove undeniably that this post is one of the worst posts ever made on this forum by a guy who tops himself with bad posts almost daily
There are no Republicans who aren't worse for the economy than the libbiest shitlib in the entire universe. Its science at this point
