Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

That one looks nice.

Semi-extreme hero rb

Purdy, Herbert, Penix

CMC, Kaleb, White, Shipley, Sanders, Chubb

Ladd, Adams, Flowers, Jennings, Mooney, Burden, Atwell

Kittle, Pitts

Joined one of those Rookies and Sophomores by mistake.

Jayden, Penix

Harvey, Tuten, Blue, Davis

Ladd, Worthy, Hunter, Higgins, Coleman, ADM

Haha what are the rules to that?

lol I'm not really entirely sure other than it's a 4 man / 12 round and obviously only rookies and 2nd year players are available.

Might be the perfect contest to stack JJM and Felton tho.

Herzig loves that contest. It's not for me, but you can knock out a bunch quickly. They usually drop it pre-draft but waited this season.

I had to slam in my final Schanuzers because they turned off slows. Imagine this RB room if CMC and Bijan get injured.

Purdy, Love, Darnold

Henry, Breece, KW, Guerendo, Allgeier

Puka, JSN, Jauan, Golden, Mooney, Bryant, Nuk

Andrews, Taylor, Sanders

So along with everyone else, I've really been going after guys like Allgeier, Guerendo, Shipley, Wright, etc.

But doing a little research on RBs that were drafted in the first 2 rounds, and how their backups did when they were a bust.

It's not very good.

Actually! Before I start jumping to any conclusions. Probably worth looking up those RB2 ADPs as well.

Did you look at ppg as a starter or just overall finish? I would think you’d want to look at the former

That's a good point. I can definitely get ppg for the season, but not sure I want to go through to find the games where they started.

Also remember that just because the RB1 may have been a bust, that doesn't necessarily mean it was because of injury or anything that may have led to the RB2 actually starting in more games.

3rb start

Goff, Stroud, Bryce

Gibbs, Bucky, Jacobs, Sampson, Dowdle

Jamo, Smith, Olave, Jennings, J Higgins, QJ, Noel, Nailor

Andrews, Sanders

I'm just going to start loading up on AR or Dimes in my 3 QB builds.

Dak, Tua, AR

Walker, Swift, Mason, Skattebo, Blue

Lamb, Reek, JSN, Pickens, Jeudy, McMillan, ADM

Loveland, Ertz, Gray

Baker, Love, Dimes

Bucky, Tracy, Blue, Allgeier, Sampson, Kendre

Chase, Reek, Jamo, Waddle, Godwin, McMillan, ADM

LaPorta, Kraft

I have been hesitant to do this, but I think I’m going to make Barkley a soft fade the rest of the way and draft like 2% from here out (10% today and had about 12% in the big board)

Gonna probably try to be overweight Gibbs and even or slightly above CD

Evan Silvas comments have convinced me

Purdy, Dak, Dimes

Gibbs, Jacobs, Mondre, Roschon, Shipley

DJM, Pickens, Deebo, Pearsall, Pittman, QJ, M Wilson, ADM

Bowers, J Ferguson

My soft fade at the top of the board is JJ. I’ll be at 4-6%. I’ll have Saquon at 7-8%. The excess will go to Bijan, Gibbs, and CD.

And after peaking at 14% CMC, I’m in soft fade mode on him too. The excess will go to Puka and Nabers.

Haha if JJ wasn’t 2 by ADP I’d be way overweight on him. I just have blind trust in KOC and JJs skill regardless of qb

My soft fades in the top 100 (DK) are

Barkley - 4%
Jeanty - 4%
Henry - 2%
Higgins - 10% (more than I thought)
DJM - 9%
Walker - 6%

Did another one of those R&S. It's nice when you want to kill 10 minutes before work.

Caleb, JJM

Jeanty, Bucky, Tuten, Shipley

MHJ, Egbuka, Burden, Loveland, Warren, Bryant

After drafting Tai Felton, I just don't know if JJ will ever be the same lol. I'm kidding, of course.

I'm not happy about being light, but those are the cards we've been dealt. Paying off an ADP 2 of takes a lot, and I think Bijan, Saquon, Gibbs, and CD are more likely to payoff than JJ, especially in .5 PPR. I'll take him every opportunity I get on DK in full PPR.

My soft fades in the top 100 (DK) are

Barkley - 4%
Jeanty - 4%
Henry - 2%
Higgins - 10% (more than I thought)
DJM - 9%
Walker - 6%

These are all pretty fair. I've been bypassing Jeanty and Henry for the most part on DK. I'd much rather draft them on UD. I haven't had much opportunity to fade Saquon, since most of my DK picks have been mid to back of the board. Granted, I'm only 33 entries in. I'm up to 716 on UD, including pre-draft stuff. I should be able to hit 1k+, but the next month and a half will be a grind.

I was also a little out on Deebo and Downs, but have come around a bit on them both. Especially on Downs since I want as much AR and Dimes on my 3 QB teams.

Yeah, I'll probably end up light (6%) on Downs, which sucks because I'm a big fan. But I just don't see Dimes being that much of an upgrade over AR and the Warren addition scares me for Downs. Plus, we could still just get AR. Between Warren and potentially (likely?) still being locked out of 2 WR sets, it's a tough path, especially with subpar QB play. That makes the efficiency needed even harder to achieve.

I was planning to be overweight Deebo at around 12%. But this Terry situation might cause me to push up to 16%.

I can't stop lol. Feels like the best start would be Jayden or Jeanty+Bucky.

Jayden, Shough

Hampton, Henderson, Tracy, Tuten, Blue

Tet, Rome, Higgins, Coleman, LMC

Alright, last one (for now). I've done 5 so far and got Jayden in 4 of them.

Jayden, Milroe

Harvey, Skat, Tuten, Blue, Guerendo

Bowers, MHJ, Worthy, Golden, Coleman
