Is this hand worth bragging about, or is this hand worth bragging about a lot?

Is this hand worth bragging about, or is this hand worth bragging about a lot?

January 2011, It was a different time back then. The middle east was at war, The economy was in the middle of a collapse, The world had just survived a flu pandemic a few years earlier, there was a controversial president in the white house, and the live poker tables played ten handed.

I was playing at a 3-6 limit hold em on a weekend night. I was sun running that night. Flopping sets, hitting flushes, and getting called. And then this following hand occurred.

H in LP looks down at pocket AAs.

UTG raises to 6, UTG+1 raises to 9, two callers, player to my immediate right goes all in for $11.
I cap it a $12. Folds to BB who calls, all others call

Seven ways to the flop capped at $12, and one player all in for $11, H last to act. I thought I had played my hand face up and was praying for an Ace on the flop.

Flop ($76 after rake) A 8 8
I was considering the best way to play this hand. Bet or slow play? Before I could finish my thought BB leads out for a $3 bet.
everyone calls, H thinks to himself "everyone called the $3 they will call another $3", and raises it to $6.
BB takes it to $9, H thinks "well that will kill some action, but the pot is big enough."
All other players call.
H "well everyone called the $6 to stay in, then they will call another $3 to stay in to see the turn." H caps it to $12. Everyone calls.
Two streets capped seven ways!

Turn ($148 ) [A 8 8] J
BB leads out for $6, UTG and one other call, two folds.
H raises to $12.
BB raises to $18.
UTG caps it at $24, next player to act shakes his head and folds.
H calls. BB calls and closes action on turn.
3 ways going into the river, capped at every street so far!

River ($226) I can't remember the card, I had Aces full after all.
BB x, UTG $6, H raises to $12.
BB raises to $18, UTG calls.
H fearful BB has quad 8s calls and closes the action.

BB shows trip 8s
UTG JJ for jacks full
and H brings in a $280 pot

$280! The pots are never this big at 3-6 limit!

Impossible according to the rules in every room I've played.

Normally it's already capped at $11. If you're in Las Vegas or the few other rooms which allow 5 bets, you can cap it at $14. $2 is more than half of a bet so it counts as one of the 4 or 5 max, and cannot be completed.

This hand was played quite some time ago. I couldn't remember every detail and had to fill in memory gaps.

I do remember making a comment (after the hand was over) about it being obvious that I had Aces. And another player (not in the hand) said "You know what it was? You made it look like you were putting a player all in."

The player that was all in for $11, If I remember correctly was facing a $6 raise and tried to make it $11, but was told he could only go to $9. I then capped it at $12. And all the players that were in for $6 stayed in for $12.

I couldn't remember every detail, But I do remember that every street was capped, except the river. I can't quite remember the action on the river but I do remember having a choice between calling and ending the action or raising and opening it back up. I chose not to raise.

The dealer would have said the betting was capped at $11. That is still considered a cap, the same way it would be at $12.

But I didn't mean that was an important detail to the story; I was just yanking your chain because you were bragging about the hand. No actual criticism was intended.

Fail

You missed a bet and are bragging? Cmon man
