4 8 bottom set capped pre on a HU broadway flop
V is an older hispanic male, we have lots of hours together. He limps and opens too wide, plays pretty aggressive post but if I push back he tends to slow down. Currently he seems slightly tilty after moving to our table recently.
8 handed he opens UTG. His range here is wide-any PP, SC , premiums. Folds to me in the SB I have TT and 3!, BB folds, V caps. This narrows him slightly but not much. Could have JTs+, any PP, big broadway.
Flop comes KQT rb. I check, he bets, I raise, he 3!, I 4!, he 5!. I call. the 5! really polarizes his range for me and its not good for my hand. I quickly try to figure what I am ahead of of can only come up with KQs or a tilted KTs or QTs. Maybe AKs with a BD FD.
Turn and river are bricks, I c/c both.

Seems fine
Seems fine to me too.
A good number of people can have AA here.
Chill rob, I was thinking the opposite way π
Spoiler
He flopped broadway with AJo
Itβs just a cooler
I wouldn't 4! the flop. You may be behind and you are giving information.
At least you had outs against the straight.
The 4! doesn't accomplish much, particularly with small bets and makes your hand sort of face up as huge, with bottom set being the bottom of the range you might be doing that with. You can have a much wider range that flats the 3!
Seems like a kind of tough 4/8 game with a HU reraised pot.
Iβd rather go one more bet on the flop than just call down unimproved to the end.
Nice hand. Your supposed to lose the maximum against a loose overly aggressive player when you flop a set.

Yes, its actually is a reg infested game with some that have played forever, pay attention and play back. OTOH, I don't play at optimum times, don't table select or bum hunt. Its the biggest LHE at my local. I played 4/8 profitably in '03-08 ish, came back after about 15 years and it was nothing like this game. Took me about 500+ hours and some good advice here to figure it out. The rake makes it tough too.
8/16 goes during big promos, I play that when I can.
