PokerStars: The BIG Game in 2024

Nikki Limo is the first loose cannon. I guess she hosts some podcast or something. Never heard of her.

Happy for Lily, she was a better player than Nikki and she deserves it after her cancer battle.

Dave purposely playing even worst than he's capable of for TV was a bit annoying. It was beyond obvious that he wanted to look like a hero gifting money.

They need to actually have someone who plays online cash for a living and crushes next season IMO. 0 out of 13 people fit this criteria, it was just fish, the cannons and a few online torny regs.

Watching Nick Wright's podcast and he just said that himself and Rob Gronkowski will be on the next season.

He mentioned November, but I didn't catch if that was when it would be filmed or when it would air.

Wow. That's actually really 😎 nice

Watching Nick Wright's podcast. He did the filming last week and said it would probably air in a couple months. Obviously he wasn't allowed to say anything about the results but he did share the table lineup.

Loose Cannon
Himself
Gronk
Hellmuth
Laak
Esfandiari

Why cant it air sooner

Filming this has to be super easy, dont see why we cant have a new season a month after the last ended

Takes time to film and edit the unnecessary 5 minute long intro/recap for each episode, and the short player interviews after every other hand.

I guess S2 came out last month but I had no idea. This season has 3 loose cannons, split into 3 heats of 150 hands/5 episodes.

The first 5 episodes of "Heat 1" are out, but based on the lineup, I won't be watching.

The only names I recognize are Tilly, Grafton, and that boring dude that won the Main last year.

Too bad these used to be so good

I know they aren't catering to viewers like us, but single-board NLHE bomb pots are sad to watch when they could be so much more entertaining

New episode just dropped. Alan, Lex, Cannon, Wolfgang, Jkoon and Morgan Jay (Comedy guy). Not a bad lineupo though Koon kind of looks like he doesn't want to be there. Alan being Alan is always fun though.

New episode was nice, back to the roots 200/400 400$ ante, 100k min, Keating bought in for 500k of course.

The new lc was cool, i found myself actually rooting for him. Im confused as to why Koon only bought in for 100k when Keating has 500 in front.

Well it only took almost 2 years.

Gronk is a national treasure. I wish he was at every poker table. Subbing in Gronk for his dad to play a hand was also hilarious. The loose cannon is pretty bad though, not gonna lie.

Probably my favorite episode of the big game ever. Phil Laak and Antonio back again at the poker table and they have a quazi therapy session. Gronk's first ever exposure to a Phil Hellmuth blow up and he goes "I thought you were a nice guy Phil!" and some other great moments.

I will give this a bump for rightfully talking trash about the new show last year. The Gronk Helmuth Esfandiari Laak table currently airing has been amazing and def has the OLD big game vibes.

Pretty insane how good Antonio ran. I sure hope Nick Wright is not a professional poker player, because he was by far the weakest player at the table. I mean if you discard the two meganits in Phils.

i watched part of the first episode and remember them saying he is a sportscaster and a poker enthusiast or something similar. perhaps even that he pads his income with poker winnings, but definitely wasn't solely a poker pro.
