I think they'll go out this season. Hard to lose 40 of your 66 total goals and find gems that will do even half as well as Mbeumo and Wissa. Also think Norgaard is a big one. Quite happy with him coming to Arsenal actually.

Most clubs will support their best players leaving at some point for the chance to win trophies if that's otherwise unlikely to happen. They probably already have some candidate buys lined up for such eventualities, and are hoping they'll make the grade. This is after all how Brighton are still in the PL. I've been very much onside with him all the time, but the question mark over whether he's the person to win major trophies is valid until he actually does, and grows bigger with each empty season, and the regression in the league has been concerning, as has tthe lack of clarity in some transfers eg Kai bought as a LM for £65M and repurposed as a CF who despite his many qualities, can't finish.
