50NL Blitz ACR Poll

50NL Blitz ACR Poll

What do you guys think someone like Limitless or Linus could achieve winrate wise at a 50nl zoom pool (can substitute PokerStars 50nl zoom as well but not Bovada since it is anonymous)?

This forum is dead anyways so i'm bumping this thread i found through google. The responses here are wild

I haven't played NLH cash since 2011 or 2012 but with some free time this summer and having NLH theory in my youtube recommendations lately I felt inclined to play a bit for fun.

Played 50NL blitz on there this month and i'd be surprised if more than 4-5 players in the pool would beat 50z on stars in 2011. These players legit have some of the worst fundamentals i've ever seen in poker. I stopped playing in 2012, but this "poker is dead", "poker has become so hard", "everyone have studied gto" whining is the dumbest thing i've ever seen.

I'm +20bi in these games now with a 20bb/100 redline playing without a hud. Idk if it's possible to use h2n hud on blitz tables, but it's not popping up for me on mac at least(free trial if it matters). I manually check vpip/pfr/3b stats for the regs in certain spots and that's it basically for stats. Anyways - these players are genuinely so bad it's unbelievable. And I checked smarthand leaderboards and many of them are on the leaderboards as 5bb+ winners on the tracked regular tables. These games are just ludicrously soft.

What i've noticed specifically is how bad the pools understanding of flop textures is. This is the main reason why my redline is so good it's because people either realise too late or autopilot into situations where your range is significantly better. And because people are bad you can just polarize completely and size most hits for value and most misses for bluffs.

Then comes the most obvious part about modern poker. A bad player opening 2-2.5x increases a good players edge massively compared to the old meta of 3x. A bad player defaulting to 25% 33% 50% sizings increases a good players edge massively compared to the old meta of 66%/75% sizings. (or whatever it was, i don't even remember anymore).

Players are good enough to know you can have the hand you're representing and bad and nitty enough to fold every time because they think "pool doesn't bluff this spot enough". You're always printing running bluffs in spots where "i've played like I can have it and i'm the only one of us that can have it", in normal dynamics.

If this is the hardest nl50 pool then I think you have to go back to like 2010 to find a time where low stakes poker was easier than it is today. Obviously crushers today would murder crushers from back then, but playing your regular lag, tag and nit in low stakes is way easier today.

2011 low stakes strategy had the entire player pool racing Priuses and ****ing up the handling. 2025 low stakes strategy you have the same people trying to race in F1 cars. In low stakes everyone is bad that has been true throughout online poker history, but it's harder to beat a bad player executing a simple strategy poorly than a bad player executing a complex strategy poorly.

Lastly to answer the threads question I'm pretty sure high stakes crushers would beat this pool for something absurd like 18bb/100.

Do the bots there get to keep card sharing on or do they have to toggle it off?
