GG
I don't want to be THAT gut but seeing set over set on the flop and then one set turning quads makes me at least question IT here. I don't deny the probability of such situation but taking into account that whenever I deposit to GG the recipient Has a diffrent name and is from Nigeria etc., This all makes me wonder for real. I'm not a conspiracy kind of guy, it's just that aside from poker on GG, most of "games" available there are pretty much casino types, this software looks scammy af. I have major leaks in my game and Im aware of that but somehow I was progressing on PS, while on this thing is just a gamble for me. As per the posting rules - yes, it's not a hand review but what's the use of theory if an underlying cirrcumstances don't apply?
There was this specific tournament that I ended 30/10.000 where i was dealt AQ, AK, QQ-AA almost continiously, it only happened once in my whole journey on their site. Playing that one game was ridiculous, i won every flip and when we were playing the flop i always hot the top pair on the flop already. This was absurd and shouldn't happen, yes run is run but that was beyond luck
Ponzi scheme is my safest bet here
Also i see players with more than $100k cashes on GG playing... 50c T$ builders. I know degens gonna degen but not that often
Ok there seems to be a whole investigation ran on this on... 2+2 but when you google GG poker rigged some other sites pop up first so i missed it. The owners are Italians, mob type, Ive known some local mobs in my country and Ive Heard stories i shouldn't ever know, Im done with GG https://youtu.be/0kMXNbTXXJg?si=gcdhuvML...

I always thought GG was Asian, not Italian?
Anyway if there was something shady going on there it would have to be a MASSIVE conspiracy. They just bought WSOP for $500 million, so it's not like they're some fly by night. They're now the biggest online poker site in the world.

I Hope there isn't but board cards are usually absurdly playable for both or more opponents. I just hit 3 final tables in one session cause i was avoiding flips for all cost. When you're flipping after the rebuy period' you're done
[QUOTE=GreatWhiteFish;59056367]. When you're flipping after the rebuy period' you're done
That cannot be true as a matter of pure logic. When you are flipping so is your opponent. One of you has to win and one of you has to lose (yes there can be some chops). So this isn't correct. Math also dictates that winning multiple flips each with your tourney life on the line becomes a long shot. (Assuming exact flips), it's 50% for one, 25% to win 2, 12.5% to win 3, 6.25% to win 4 ....
So you can see that it is generally really important from an ICM perspective to try to avoid flips. You can't always do this, as sometimes you just need to take a shot ... and when ICM is not prominent, you probably want to take more flips.

So basically this guy called each of my opens and won every pot with me on the river
The hands he called my min-opens were 84o and Q3o
I had only 2 tables on and decided to take a walk and eat sth
So i goodbye shoved for 27bb with A5 to donate
look what he called me with (I shoved preflop!)
I'm pretty sure now they hire guys to send the players to lobby and rebuy
Or you're playing a micro stakes bounty where people don't care about the stakes and will call with anything to try to bust you and win your bounty.
Poker sites make plenty enough money from running an honest game, and even though there have been superuser type scandals in the past, if GG is running a scam, I doubt they're wasting their time ripping people off $2.50 at a time when they have 10k buyin events.

No sir, this guy knew each three boards ahead
He's not there to win, just to make others rebuy
also, what is the percentage of turnover coming from micro stakes buyins? think about it this way
plus i assume they use the variance to cover the fact that much larger part of money than just the rake stays with them
I played for a year straight on PS, day by day, and never ever assumed anything like this. Never
Googling now how to set up an online VPN to play on stars
Legal sites were banned in my country in 2015
the fact that GG doesn't care about the ban says something too
.
Yes, you already described the hand.
If you're so convinced it's rigged, why are you still playing there?
also the QJo wasn’t in bounty. These are bots acting that way so players would have to rebuy. Look up the owners of GG business in Google

Personally, I doubt GG would bother to rig $1.50 buyin tournaments when they have tournaments where the rake per entry is 200 times that.

Sure. As for the buyin argument - I would be noticed at higher stakes, wouldn’t it?
Just to conclude - they are not doing it for the rake from $1.50, but for the cash flow from deposits caused by the necessity of constant rebuys. It’s a Ponzi scheme. It will go out someday. Mark my words.
So why are they targeting you specifically as opposed to the other low-stakes players?
