Ofc he was a complete clusterf***, but he was that type that you only realize when you kind of grow up. I mean what he did in his career, like doing s#it loads of steroids and whatever else, I'm sure that was pretty much required, you wouldn't stand much of a chance if you didn't do that at that time (or prolly still now, no idea).
All the s#it afterwards, like the happenings with his wife, his business dealings and his repeated endorsements and support of babydicktler, yeah that's pretty much the nut low, maybe there is moar that I did not see. But anyways he was a somebody in his time...
In his prime he was one of the most entertaining wrestlers of all time. His moves weren't even better than average. He had the same script every time. Get the crap beat out of him for a few minutes, then pull himself together, gather inspiration from the crowd, and make a comeback. But he was incredible at that one story, enough that it seemed fresh every time.
Still a dick, though.
Speaking of: I was a fan of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, until it turned out that he was a domestic abuser/murderer.
