Rebuy period is about to end, I managed to grind a moderately decent stack of 40bb without flipping, while average being 25bb. I mini open 99 from UTG, button jams for 20bb. Rebuy closes in like 2 min so if I lose there’s no time to donk flip up to 40bb again

I'm snap-calling with 99. Worst PP you're supposed to call with is probably 77. You can tighten up as appropriate based on reads and to avoid needless flips, but the player who shoved would have to be a total nit for me to consider folding 99.
The fact that it's the end of the rebuy period makes me call quicker because he could be shoving light to try to double up or rebuy.

UTG raise is super strong. He knows that.You're going against 2 overs most of the time even if ahead. You lose, you go in to no rentries with 20 bigs. Take the 40 bigs and play ball.
