1/2: AA facing turn raise and river shove

1/2: AA facing turn raise and river shove

1/2, $300 eff.. UTG limp, LJ makes it $5, Hero SB $25 A️A️, BB UTG & LJ call

Flop ($100): T️4️4
Hero $30, fold, fold, LJ call

Turn ($160): 5
Hero $55, LJ minraises to $110, obv call

Reads on the LJ and stack sizes for all villains probably influence my flop sizing and possibly my line.

SPR is <3, a flop C/R seems possible if any villains overbluff/overstab…

As played, I think I bet bigger on flop to set up a bet/shove 2-street game.

If LJ is a bad or bluffy player, I probably either shove OTT of his turn minclick, or flat and (sigh) call any river bet

I had just sat down so didn’t know much about LJ. Villains had $300-400.

Flop x/r narrows their range down a lot right? Even Tx may fold to a x/r.

I think I just shove turn, there's nothing back. He has a 4 probably. OOP 4 ways with AA at this depth you're just getting it in I think.

3bet bigger pre, probably 30+ since opening size is super small.

With such spr, I don't think we ever folding.

I think I might like a flop check/raise, Tx, fd, and even some middle pp are betting sometimes. Unless they're all very passive.

Turn I probably check/evaluate instead of betting.

Is worse ever calling a flop check raise tho? It looks so strong

4x is very very small part of their range.

We are repping air/fd by check/raising.

If they fold everything, we can check/raise bluffs/semibluffs everytime vs them.

I don't mind a xc-xc-xc line with this hand. If Villain xbs either flop or turn we can lead the next street. Having the A spades makes a significant difference here. The problem with b-b-b is that Villains will fold Tx and worse pairs. As played you probably have to call river given villain can overvalue a Tx or JJ for instance. I would fold against some Vs with extra info.

id check the flop and just c/c down.

Does anyone ever fold AA? Sometimes you just gotta let it go…

Can't fold at this SPR

A small sizing is fine in the sense that our hand does not need much protection, but we also have an advantage with overpairs and our range wants to punish villain with a larger sizing.
