It sounds like the Flock contests should be dropping on Sun, Tues, and Fri of each week until the season. I think they usually drop around 8 pm est and fill within a few hours. I fired 3 on Friday. The structure is fun and the chance of making the finals is by far the best on the site.

Yeah, the lack of UD contests right now is lame. I did two more $3 on DK. Sometimes I feel like I'm just clicking buttons over there lol. You never know how a room will go.

I think this one turned out okay. Managed to get Kyler and Tua stacked, but I did end up with an unstacked Love at pick 140.

I was thinking about the post regarding WRs in the 3rd not having upside. I'm not fading them entirely, but started thinking of ways to get around them. The most obvious is McBride (if he's available), Lamar/Josh, or a RB.
But what about getting really funky, and in cases where you start at the 1.01 or 1.02 and one of the elite WRs (AJB, Ladd, or Reek) doesn't make it back to you. Just pull up 2 players from the 4th round at the 2/3 turn.
I gave it a go on two teams, and was able to get unique on both by having four 4th round players on each.
I prefer the first team by a lot, but the second team is actually better in terms of straight ADP value. Mainly because of Najee at 167 and Likely at 170. I do like the idea of pulling up Kittle to the left side since it lines up with Pearsall/Jennings and Purdy's ADP a little better.

I don’t think that’s terrible to do with a small percentage of the portfolio, but I think I’d rather just draft the rd3 WRs at an underweight position and then hit the good value RBs/qbs/tes there at an overweight position (my preference has been the rbs)

And newguy, as far as pulling guys up, I think it’s fine as long as you do it with guys who don’t make it back to the 4/5 turn. Kittle is good in timeboxed contests, but not something like BBM or the Milly, since he started at the 4/5. Tet is probably not that great, because I do still see him come back to the 4/5 sometimes. Breece and Kyren are good candidates. Worthy probably now too, but he was at the 4/5 at certain parts of this summer, so better in timeboxed.
It also makes me not really want to draft Omarion at the 2/3 in a contest like BBM since he was at the 4/5 to start the contest.

Agreed I’ve been only drafting time boxes bc I hate having to pass the top click in spots where 50% of the field have them on the same team but 2 rds later
