Not sure if he'll come back, but it was the right decision. If there was a reason to ban, it should have been for spamming. I think a case can be made for that. Ousting posters for sharing wildly unpopular opinions or disinformation or whatever — something that requires an arbiter of merit and truth and, therefore, is susceptible to malfeasance, which is always the case — is never a good idea on a political discussion forum.

This is definitely possible. The idea that he was a troll is beyond farfetched. He definitely believed what he wrote, horrible as a lot of it was.

It's a sad day when the best thread in the forum is Mason's thoughts on the firing of some statistician. Pretty sure Luciom is needed to generate some action.
Luc is not a terrible poster..... but most of his ideas were terrible.
Pretty sure posting that all leftists should be killed qualifies you as a terrible poster pretty definitively.
