EPL Regs do Fantasy Eggball (Vol.13)
Welcome back to season thirteen (!) of NFL fantasy football.
General etiquette is that the first set of places are reserved for regulars of the Premier League thread, but we're usually a runner or two short, so if you're interested, post below and you'll be considered (and likely play).
We'll run it on Yahoo and unless I hear cries to the contrary, suggest we run:
$20 Draft
$50 Auction
Both with .5 PPR.
Max 12 runners in each
Prizes will be worked out once we have exact runners, but I'd suggest that if it's 12 entries, it's something like 50%, 35%, 15%.
Please post below if you'd be interested in playing. If you could include the following:
- Which league you want to play (both is encouraged!)
- That you're happy with the format (and if you're not, include a suggestion)
- A proposed date and time for the draft/auction that would suit you (I'm aware that we're unlikely to find something that will be perfect, so I'll have to make an executive decision).
I'll get the ball rolling as a suggestion for the draft date: Sunday 31st August during the evening in the UK (something like 6pm for the draft and 7:30pm for the auction)

Yeah I'm in assuming 8 runners also. If we're struggling for numbers happy to consolidate into a single league if that helps us get to 10 or 12 runners.
Would also be happy to get the drafts done nice and early so there's not so much 'consensus' by the time we get around to it, ramp up the variance
I'm in, for deerper but would prefer standard scoring.
Though for numbers' sake, i will be happy with whatever if we run it. I'm also happy to bump up to 35 if we dont get enough numbers and the auction doesn't happen. must be a draft, though. Auction sucks.
Also being pretty much the only international, i plead for a good +8 GMT time. or on a friday or saturday. That way i can be t drunk and do better than i did last year.
I'll be in for both. I mentioned this in the previous thread but you should look into if Yahoo can do some sort of slow clock to accommodate for people on **** time zones. I'm not sure that they do outside of setting the time on picks to an absurd number of seconds

if draft is 0 gmt can it be lat arvo on the 31st for you guys? means it can be early morning for me and i can have my cup of coffee, and all is good.
Normally i have to get up at 2am to draft on a workday then go back to sleep for like a few hours, then get up for work.
31 would work i think.

Apologies for the delay, was away for a decent amount of the month.
We've got 8 runners in total right now and slightly under 2 weeks until the proposed draft date.
I'm going to suggest that we merge this to a single league and make the buyin $40, and go with a draft format and 0.5 PPR. That is, I think, the best way of getting us to about 12 runners.
Will take stock of what people put below and if there's general acceptance then i'll send out PMs to collect money.

No chance of moving the league to Sleeper? Seems a far superior app

Sleeper is better tbh, also has slow draft wich would solve issues of timezone and availabilty for everybody
