Check, HJ bet, BTN fold, I call

Turn Qc

Check, bet, call

River 6d

I bet

I think flop is standard closing the action?

Are we meant to raise the turn?

I thought lead river might be good to earn a bet from the pairs below Qx that may x back river and I have 3 combos of A8s that may bluff like this. I would fold my hand to a raise cause I'm well protected by better hands and I don't think villain will raise worse than AQ for value.

It’s a disaster to bet/fold this river. Much worse than losing a bet.

I’m fine with it if you don’t c/r turn

I agree with this, though I still like donking if you think this guy is going to check back his 88-JJ and ace high hands. Against someone more aggro I think this river is a pretty sexy spot to C/R.

CR turn is pretty bad as your hand is face up, worse hands always fold better hands always 3b

river donk seems ok. cr is ok too as you are never getting 3b as he obv has more combos of TT-JJ than KK and AA because of your K blocker, and im guessing most players vb TT-JJ here. some bad players also turn AK into a bluff OTR and bet.

Check-raising river feels like we're overplaying our hand given that both the board paired and the flush came in, but I think it's probably fine. I'm probably just checking and calling here. MUBS Captain Supreme.
