2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I generally aim to have 3 RBs thru 10. If I happen to take 2 thru 5, then I might stop there and focus on other positions until Round 11 or 12.
My goal is to have 2 or 3 RBs that can get me early season production and then 2 or 3 at the end with late season upside.
I've been fading this guy at cost, but if the people give him to me here, then sure haha.
I’ve been doing the same, mostly 5wr/3rb, sometimes 5/2 + onesie or 4/2 + elite qb+teBut I’ve definitely built far fewer 0 rb teams than last year. I am a little worried that’s a mistake bc even though I was under expected advance rate, i did get 2 teams to the finals (400 or so drafted)Kyle Pitts was my highest owned player and he had a 0% advance rate for m
I have the same fears haha. Granted, a lot of the zero RB teams were because of attacking the TEs in rounds 4-6, plus the QBs. Pitts, Andrews, Kincaid, blah, blah. Mahomes, Stroud, and AR didn't help, either. It was a double whammy.
And then I definitely way overdrafted WRs on certain builds. I had a lot more 5-6 WRs through 7-8 rounds last year than this year, and I think that's the correct adjustment.
My advance rate was around 20 less teams than expected, but I had 5 finals teams when 3.5 was expected. So yeah, definitely still worried I've overadjusted. Granted, they sucked in week 17 haha.

Yeah, while we aren't playing for the beginning of the season, I've been way more careful to value beginning of the season production. You can hit all of the Buckys, Tracys, etc. of the world, but if you don't place in the draft pod, who cares? Or if you take guys like Jaylen Warren, BRob, etc. as your RBs 1 and 2 who can give you production but don't necessarily have league winning upside, it can also sink you. It's a tough balance.
Been trying to draft less dimes and Shough, but felt like the right spot
Hero rb start for me
Lamar, Bryce, Dimes
CMC, Mason, Mondre, Blue, Braelon, JCM
AJB, TMac, Flowers, Olave, Reed, Pierce, Noel
Andrews, Warren
Nice and balanced. I was aiming to be even on AR and Dimes, but now I'm like 9% AR and 6% Dimes. I'd prefer to be a little closer, so I'm still clicking Dimes some.
I'm done with Shough. He was one of my higher exposed QBs in SF, so I'm fine letting that ride. Thankfully I'm only at like 4% in non-SF. The camp reports have been bad.
I opened another Mixon/Judkins slow team, but I like this one a lot more haha.
The rest of the team is
Hurts, Herbert
Ladd, MHJ, DK, Keon, Tillman
Warren, Goedert
I'll probably be finishing with 3 WRs but could find 2 WRs and 1 TE.
Also, not sure how much you guys are paying attention to the preseason schedule, but the Jags play this Saturday. These next couple of days could be last call for Hunter in the 5th.

AR is now my 4th highest owned QB, but haven't clicked him since his price has gone up.
Agree on Shough. Luckily I only got to 5% even though he was my favorite late QB at one point.
AR could either keep shooting up the board after tonight or fall back to the last round lol. I really wouldn't be surprised with either result.
Amazing how UD continues to go backwards with their interface. They've gone to the old DK days without the pick # showing on the board now. Apparently if you hover over the pick box, it'll show the actual pick #, but not as a default. I've already complained on X lol.
ADP is listed by total pick #, so why the **** do I care to see 7.5 on the board? I'd rather see 77.
Didn’t get a lot of bring backs, but I like this squad
Caleb, JJM, Geno
Hampton, Mason, Tracy, Tuten, Braelon, Shipley
JJ, Worthy, Waddle, Rome, Addison, Doubs, Bech
Bowers, Juwan
It looks good.
What doesn’t look good is this Slater injury. That sucks. I’ll keep drafting Hampton, but it’s a hit to him + the deep threats.
At least they have a month to try to figure it out.
1 drive in. Warren and ADM look solid haha
Keaton!
AR dead already
Just saw the notification. Truly incredible.
Man, Tyler Warren looks like awesome out there
I've been trying to draft more lately, even if I have to pull him up ahead of ADP. It's tough to get as much Warren/Loveland as I want their prices with all of the QBs and other TEs in that range too.
Just got him in a MMG
Tlaw, Stroud, Dimes
Hampton, Harvey, Warren, Braelon, Marks, Brooks
Nico, AJB, Worthy, Hunter, Downs, Burden
Warren, Strange, Chig
