Hero AA 3 bet pre / line check on turn and sizing question

Player A is a 5/10 NL player and mixes it up in terms of how he playsÂ… very tricky can turn up with ATC
Player B is aggressive but has not gotten out of line, although is down 500ish from a few bad beats
Player A (early position) opens to 25

Is there merit to checking the turn here?
I realize my sizing is off here, my thought on turn was to bet smallish and not be committed if I get raised. This is early in session and my first time 3 betting after playing relatively tight.
As played is this a fold?

Let's evaluate preflop range.
Player B coldcall range has alot of 99~JJ, some QQ but since you mention he's aggressive he probably cold4bets QQ. Of course this is just random guesses, he could also have some suited broadways, Axs, random pp. You mentioned he has lost a few bad beats so he could be tilted calling a wider range.
Player A range has alot of pp, some broadways, some suited connectors. Some AQ/AJ type hands.
Preflop I probably go bigger because Player A in EP has a stronger range and less likely to give up. 100 seems good, easier to get stacks in postflop.
Flop I probably go smaller to like 50-60 and will be super cautious of player B because flop hits his range strong.
Turn player B rarely has a bluff here, only bluff possible probably 99/89s/9ts.
Turn I probably check/call or check/fold instead of betting. If he checks back we can valuebet most rivers.
If this were 500 effective it's the easiest snap call.
But 900+ effective I probably fold.
dangomango - great analysis and you are spot onÂ… I will post results after I get a few more responses. I like the idea of betting preflop larger, and smaller after the flop.
What made this hand weird is I feel like my hand was being played face up as I had played relatively tight prior to this hand and was first time 3 betting pre flop (from early position) which in hindsight looks like AA KK or maybe AK/QQ.
As played I think checking the turn is the best play, now that IÂ’m thinking about it.
Stack size was uncomfortable, as played it’s either a fold or all in which felt gross with 1 pair

Yup, and this is why the flop has "Danger!" flashing all over it.
I would always check turn here. Flop can go either way, leaning check vs described villains. Btn will probably make more betting mistakes than calling mistakes.
