Couldn't think of a better place to make it than here of course!😃

Hope y'all are doing well.

First off - a few guys I am really unsure about - anyone have strong opinions on them relative to their ADP:

Roschon Johnson
DJ Moore
Garrett Wilson
Tyler Warren
Any NE receivers that are not Diggs

Best Ball stuff

Who are your most popular BB players that keep ending up on your teams?

Is there a need for stacking when you do 10 or 12-man BB leagues? It's Week 1-17 scoring with no playoffs, so didn't know if there was any advantage to this.

tarheels - Do you still recommend all the writers and advice that you posted here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showp...

Any new quality info to follow that you have found since then?

Roschon Johnson - was back n forth on him but ended up above ADP prior to the injury. Now that he’s hurt, probably a full fade unless he’s available in like rd18

DJ Moore - happy to click at ADP

Garrett Wilson - I have 1% now, I’m basically full fading

Tyler Warren - I like him above ADP, although I’m slightly underweight (7%) and want to be overweight

Any NE receivers that are not Diggs - like all of them at ADP. I’m underweight Kyle Williams but I think he’s a perfectly fine pick

That's a nice summary from jimmy. Although, I'm a little less in on DJM and a little more in on Wilson than him.

I think on a general basis, the advice in that thread is still good. There have been a few adjustments such as more RBs earlier and less WR heavy than last season, though, that could still be wrong.

I've also tried to focus more on total roster compatibility than trying to only play for end of season upside. Best ball is a tough game and far different than managed leagues. I'm still learning a lot as I play, but it's way more about game theory than singular player takes, imo.

The best way to learn is to draft your own teams and to watch others draft, whether that's streamers or people in your own draft rooms. You'll figure out what makes sense and what doesn't.

There have been a lot of good teams posted in this thread, plus good commentary if you scroll through. You want to focus on team stacking, week 17 correlation, ADP value, etc.

Hurts, JJM

Chase, Swift, ETN, Javonte, Shipley, Keaton

JJ, Tee, Jamo, Jeudy, Pittman, Palmer, Slayton, Felton

Here’s my team

Hurts, Goff, Ward

Conner, Jones, Dobbins, Sampson, Marks, Shipley

Nico, AJB, Tee, Flowers, Burden, K Williams, TeSlaa

Laporta, Chig

This was a Puppy, but may as well been a DK Milly with all the value I got.

Fields, Goff, TLaw

Breece, Pacheco, Mason, Tuten, Blue

Nico, ARSB, Wilson, Hunter, Flowers, Noah, TeSlaa

Warren, Gesicki, Taylor

That one is fire.

Careful if you’re entering the MMG right now, it’s only slows.

The games are good.

Pretty happy with this team, maybe needed another rb though

Dak, Caleb, Rodgers

Hampton, Monty, Warren, Tuten, Wright

JJ, AJB, Pickens, Mclaurin, Jeudy, Pop, Austin

Loveland, J Ferguson, Muth

Agree, a 2-6-7-3 would've been better.

Found these free rankings from RotoBaller and decided to give them a try. Not sure how up to date they are because some seem way off, but most seem okay.

Najee @ 106
Judkins @ 74
Shipley @ 175

Mahomes, Stroud, Darnold

Pacheco (accidentally starred at 57), Harvey, Tracey, Javonte, Najee

Nico, London, JSN, Rice, Mooney, Tre, Royals

Likely, Gesicki, Fannin

Hey guys I decided to start best balling earlier this year strictly out of boredom.

For rankings, I've been using an average of the FantasyPros rankings with the Yahoo top 300.

As far a differences in those rankings vs what I have seen in the drafts I've done (about 30 so far), here are some observations:

Rashee Rice: goes around 47th overall, but ranked around 64th on the rankings I have. Fantasy Footballers was talking about him likely getting suspended this year and estimated that number to be around 5 or 6 games this year. So that seems to be a big discrepancy.

Tet McMillan: going around 40th overall, but ranked 68 on my rankings. I'm not sure why the gap is so big here, but I haven't been taking him because of this. Do I need to adjust and move him up?

Mike Evans: going around 40th. Rankings have him at 33. Should he be this high? He will have increased td target competition with a 1st round Ohio State WR joining him. It took him until the last game of the year to reack 1,000 yards, although he did have 11 TDs last year. Should he be going top 40?

If anyone has any room in fantasy leagues for buy ins up to $100 let me know please!

I don’t think the way you’re aggregating rankings is effective

But I’ll give my opinion on the 3 players for best ball

Rashee - was one of my highest owned players prior to the news, so I am mostly fading now and taking him in spots I need upside. If I was underweight prior to the news, I’d be drafting him more often now

Tet - I think he’s a great pick at ADP. Would like to end up even to overweight by the time the season starts

Mike Evans - I think he’s a good pick at ADP. Targeting even to overweight

Thanks for your freedback. Just curious, but what would you suggest here?

Would use best ball specific rankings from one of the main sites that offers them (or aggregate multiple ones) or just use ADP and shift players up/down based off opinion on players

ETR and Leg Up would be the rankings sites I would trust most. I personally prefer ETR

Newguy, Malik looked pretty good that first drive

Newguy, Malik looked pretty good that first drive

He sure did!

And Mattison with the GL touchdown.

Just drafted these two Puppies. They're weird, but I think they mostly make sense lol. The rooms are becoming more unpredictable.

I got the rare Saquon/AJB then dipshit one pick ahead of me in the 4th round decided he needed Hurts after starting Nico, Irving, Evans.

Too big of a gap or still not big enough?

I think the gap is fine. I'd rather take Egbuka on the back end of the 6th though, and would take Godwin before Mixon.
