No clearer indication we didn't understand the clue at all. 😀

ticket - 3

No idea

If I clued this it would be for like Meter(which is prob right, like parking ticket) Parade and Caesar(sports betting ticket)

I can see Spot, the Caesar thing an obv stretch

I like

Meter
Governor (top of the political ticket)
Parade

mmmm political ticket makes sense, easier to miss but good chance what D1 could be going for

Can we do it 3rd and I'm good with those 3

bump

It seems like almost every turn somebody on this team goes awol.

Maybe it really is a good time to shake up the threads around here.

How about some codenames league?

we could group all players together and rotate the teams systematically with a point for each game you win.

Thoughts?

I'd be in for that.

Sorry!!!

I like your answers

Parade
Governor

That's bottles!

Nice guessing guys. I never really had any intention of trying to finish in 2, but when you went 5/5 and blues gave us another one straight up, I figured I had to at least try for the shutout. Took me quite a while to come up with that clue too, so glad it worked out haha.

I hope you guys have watched more of IASIP than I have.

My personal brand got in the way here. I wasn’t thinking of Sunny when I clued Paddy’s. It was just to eliminate Leprechaun and Parade while hopefully indicating other holiday-related words (valentine/snowman) were okay.

There was no way we were winning this in two anyway, so yeah.

My first thought was Paddy’s was for St Patrick’s Day so I woulda eliminated leprechaun as assassin and guessed valentine, troll, snowman, Caesar as odds are he was starting with 0 clue to setup a bunch of words in the realm of leprechaun

I think what hung me up is that "Paddy's" as a nickname strikes me as something more specific than the holiday itself.

yeah, once ya'll had Paddy's from IASIP it's hard to get off that

Patrick's would have been less ambiguous

but my thought was if he's cluing 0 on turn one, it's to get off assassin and then open up for a large clue, so on this board leprechaun is the obvious assassin (for either version of Paddy's) and then the board had a ton of leprechaun-adjacent words so that's why I figured he most likely was getting rid of leprechaun (and prolly parade) to open up all the other words like valentine, snowman, troll, caesar where any clue for those would also hit leprechaun

I didn't see the same options for IASIP meaning of the word

We may have re-evaluated once it was clear we had no understanding of the clue. But it was too late.

I was worried that Patrick’s - 0 would have led to Valentine being eliminated as a possibility.

It doesn’t matter though, we weren’t winning this. Next.

Yeah, I thought of this after the Sunny connection was made. It was a bad clue.
