Live 1/3 4b pot with QQ UTG vs BU

Live 1/3 4b pot with QQ UTG vs BU

Villian is an asian is his 20s. I've never played with him, been at the table for about 10-15 min. Last 2 hands, I opened over limps and won, and the hand right before i 3b an open and a call and won. So to him i may look aggro. Just a thought.

UTG ($480) villain opens to 15
Hero CO covers 3b to 45 with QdQs
UTG 4b to $115, hero calls

flop - $234
K58dd
UTG bets $70, i call

turn - $374
2c - double flush draw board now
UTG checks, hero checks

river - $374
Kx - no flush completes

Villian tanks for about 3 min and then jams for about $300

Don’t love the spot and don’t love the 3 min tank before jamming. With potentially an aggro image and against a 20’s Asian kid I probably look him up here and expect to lose 50-60% of the time.

Did want to add i could not see any hand that beats me that checks turn here with 2 FD and less than pot behind. Maybe KK?

gross but id probably call and hate myself when i lose. also folding pre has to be a possibility.

Folding QQ to 4bets almost all of the time at live 1/3 is honestly a winning strategy. This dude is also utg.

Non-short with no other dead money in the pot (and especially with a poor player behind), I wouldn't hate just flatting the first time preflop. I would typically fold to the 4bet, but admittedly that is with my nitty image; trickier spot with our perhaps perceived aggrotard image, but still, it's a 4bet at LLSNL.

I mean, I guess we're getting an awesome price on the flop, but AK just got there and I'm not so sure worse pairs are cbetting into our perceived AK.

Weird turn spot with just a ~PSB left. I think I can get behind a check behind because smaller pairs are just going to find a fold so often here.

Also weird river spot. Kinda looks like AA soul reading us for exactly what we have. Not impossible for AK/KK either (checking the turn for the same reason we checked back). I mean, we're getting a decent price, but underpairs are mostly just happily checking and hoping it checks thru and meanwhile are there really bluffs here in a 4bet pot at LLSNL?

The second king makes it less likely he’s got one, so I’m calling.

I think I would have raised again pre $220
I think I would have raised the flop bet $220
I think I would have bet the turn $220ish again.

But you got all the money in - nice

Without a strong read, I just don’t think we’re beat in this spot, so I’ll take the hit if we are.

Its weird, I'd probably have folded had he just jammed turn but cause he x back i couldn't think of hand that wouldn't bet here with 2 FD unless its an underpair.

So he jams on the river and I'm thinking i block the most obvious bluff AQ and I can still have AK here. Ultimately I called cause the price was good and I felt maybe he's just good enough to have bluffs here like Axs, and that almost every value hand better than QQ jams turn 95% of the time.

He said you win and never showed. But yeah, i agree folding QQ pre is sometimes good vs some players who never 4b ever without AK, KK+. And some players to jam QQ pre is better and will call off 99-JJ (less of these for sure).

**oh and 2nd K on the river played a huge role in me calling....he jams river without the 2nd K dropping, i think im folding but have no idea in this spot if thats good or not.
