I didnt' see it, but from recollecting last night on Twitter:
- Duran also hadn't pitched in 3 days. He's a big momentum type guy and needs nightly work to have his A++ stuff, imo.
I could debate the pitching decisions for a while. Why was Luzardo left in too long the day before and Duran probably could have closed that out? Nola is scheduled for tomorrow with what has been noted as a big reliever game.
But my bigger question is why was Duran standing without help for like 10 minutes, with like 8 people around him, until the baseball helmet cart had to carry him off?

No one in the history of baseball has ever consistently hit HRs that got out more quickly than Stanton's HRs. His 2-iron shots are something to see. No arguing that point.

Hey, I was thinking that "Here comes nobody" by Meredith was on Dorsett's 99 yard TD run, but it wasn't. When was it? I just listened to it and Dandy Don's memorable comment on the 99 yarder was, after Dorsett had gone about 30 yards and had two guys still to beat and 70 yards to go, he came out with "Oh, no. 99 yards and a half."

Just speculation, but from Rob Thomsons comments, Painter is coming up. His numbers aren't great, but he hasn't thrown a lot of fastballs this year.

Robles only getting 10 games for throwing the bat seems light. I guess it is better than running at the pitcher with a bat.
