Reading the thread on Rast HOF, this comment made me start a new thread...
Funny enough, I was having a discussion with someone at the tables a few weeks back and I argued Mizrachi was HOF worthy even before the ME win but this should cement it for sure.
Did you notice he is in? After the 4th PPC, he had a really good chance next year.
If they want to put another woman in, maybe Okamoto after two firsts and a second in three consecutive WSOP womens championships with over 2000 entries. However, they would need to go back to two in every year, with the huge backlog of qualified candidates.
HOF is indeed a good ole boys club. Just because you're eligible at 40 doesnt mean you need to be inducted immediately over people who've been waiting. If 5 were in a year, then sure but 1 or 2 you're going to have to wait I guess.
Mizrachi has been a valid choice now for a few years imo, and the fact he won a 4th PPC and the main obviously solidified it. However, the fact they turbo inducted him nullifies the whole thing. It proves its a sham.
Speaking of which, ill be eligible next year so I am awaiting my nomination.
