ClubGG / App Poker 'Is this a Scam?' Complicated Debt Situation
Hey Guys, recently a issue came up and im uncertain about, how to handle it. I'm new in the online app poker scene and just gave out a couple of times chips, before requesting a deposit / settling.
At this stage i don't feel comfortable sharing the names of all involved players / agents, cause it might have negative impact on there end and i want to give them potentially more time to clear things up.
Here's the situation:
Player A owes Player B 9k from a previous game. Player B is a trustworthy agent, and Player A is a reliable player who has paid out and settled debts in the past. At the end of the week, Player A invites Player B to a game hosted by Player C (a separate entity).
In the game, Player B is loaded with 2k, but loses it. He then requests an additional 3k, and Player A vouches for him, convincing Player C to load another 3k. At the end of the night, Player B has lost around 4k (including Rakeback).
On Monday, Player A disappears and stops responding to both Player B and Player C. Now, Player B is left in a tough spot. He owes Player C 4k, but also needs to settle the 9k debt which Player A created, who has effectively vanished.
The questions I have are:
Does Player B still need to pay the 4k to Player C, even though Player A vouched for the credit?
Is Player B now responsible for a 9k debt to Player A (a third party) as well as the 4k to Player C?
