Just kind of goes with the territory as the overlap between poker pro and crypto adoption was massive.

The Bitcoin thread here in BFI is over 14 years old. Billionaires were made

Too bad I only frequented a few subsets on this forum. I shamefully missed the boat on crypto :(

Scott Fischman

Pretty well documented he had some medical issues with Rheumatoid Arthritis that greatly impacted his ability to keep playing.

What happened to Dan Coleman?

Pokernews wrote a scathing Op-ed about Coleman, destroying him for not having a good enough public presence.

He has since disappeared from poker. It's unlikely causation, but it happened.

Nl 10-20 player back in the begining on stars... Think his name was bud or buddy something... his avatar was a lion or tiger?

Funny when I was asking about the real yoshi on WSOP everyone just kinda making fun of me or saying that he was so good and won enough that he quit lol now someone has been stripped of a bracelet for a reason that gg poker won’t say why. Just like I know that therealyoshi was banned he didn’t die or quit cause nobody would quit if they won every ***** time.

Dwyte Pilgrim.

Dead or just resting?

For fellow super fans of the "Canadian Super Bomber" AKA DOUG LEE you will be pleased to know he recently took 3rd in a $3300 PGT held at Venetian for $120,000 USD. Doug was later spotted at TAO with 2nd place finisher Lily Kiletto sitting on his lap at a private table where they shared a magnum of an unknown champagne.

Nice find. They even zoomed in on his meal as he ate.

Used to live across the street from him post his retirement. Guy made gazillion from crushing sngs, one drop and online / live mtts. If you read interviews/ his twitter it seems quite obvious he is just quite anti the poker community/non sense going it. Think he got married or at minimum have / has a serious gf. Fwiw got the impression he was both filthy rich and happy.

I personally have huge respect for him walking away as opposed to other succesful players that fight on twitter / try to push down others / try desperately to stay relevant through social media. Probably doesnt help that he loved to battle hu sngs and everyone at highstakes was using RTA in those games around the time he quit.

The Doug LEE took 2nd at the latest Poker Masters 10k, how cool would he look in that purple velvet jacket? Currently 8th place in the standings within striking distance.

NOBODY looks cool in that hideous purple jacket.

This is the one I want to know.

So, I live in a town in south Orange County, CA. I decided to look it up because apparently hes originally from the same area and there's an "Eric Molina lawyer". Not exactly a really unique name, but its not a large town solid say its a big coincidence.

He was 21 in that WSOP, but its still pretty hard to believe that little ******* could have become a lawyer. Although if he's a prosecutor it certainly wouldn't surprise me.
