Bad beat or cheating
I'm not one to think when I get a bad beat that it's cheating but i've seen this type of play too often.
ACR, ITM, MTT 175K gtd, avg stack about 28bb, about 280 players left
I open UTG all in for 6bb
It folds to the CO, he goes all-in for 27bb
Everyone else folds, I have AKo against Q7o.
Before the runout, in my head I said watch a queen hit the river and it did.
I question this play because of his stack, why would he risk all in on q7o from the cutoff with basically an average stack? Am I missing something? Is this a normal play?
Another red flag is the user is from Russia.

It depends.
AKo vs one random hand wins 65% of the time. (Four times in six.)
AKo vs Q7o wins 67% of the time. (Four times in six.)
Q7o vs one random hand wins 52% of the time. (Three times in six.)
Q7o vs AKo wins 33% of the time. (Two times in six.)
Lol yeah, feels super sketch. CO shoving 27bb with Q7o is just… wild, especially in a big MTT with avg stacks. Could be spew, could be tilt, could be fish, but yeah it raises eyebrows. Definitely a rare line, not standard at all.
As CMAR famously once said:
I was wondering the same thing OP. Ppl at my local 1/2 brick and mortar are SO lame, so idiot... ppl that shoves all in UTG on the dark! Yes! It is that unbelievable. And not just once, but several all ins on the dark in a row! Ppl that goes aipf heads up with something like Q7o. They are not poker players, they are just sick degen gamblers. In my country, it is forbidden games

How about if the Q7 had seen the OP fold too tightly earlier?
Donβt do this ever - think positive thoughts
I think you waited too late and have no fold equity. CO looked left and shoved to isolate you - he wasnβt risking his stack.
From Vβs point of view, youβre desperate and could be shoving anything - not scared of 6bb
I donβt play online, because I have no trust. So, I do understand your worries, but I see this kind of play often in live tournaments. Shove your Q7 with an average stack, but donβt blind down to nothing & holler foul.
You're right, I should keep a positive mindset at all times. I didnt blind down though, I lost a big pot a few hands prior to this.
Seeing me fold tightly should give villain even more reason to fold after I go all-in
Yeah I've been there, where you wonder if he's cheating you because there was no way he would voluntarily put all his chips in with that hand.
Then I win (happens occasionally).
I look around the table and everyone is glaring at me suspiciously wondering if he just dumped his chips to me.
