DK is truly a wild place.

gotta get those 0s up

Bully QB that kind of works. I've decided that with what little drafts I have left I'm doing 2 TEs unless I can add Fannin in R17/18.

Allen, Jayden

Dobbins, ETN, Mondre, Javonte, Brob, Guerendo, Kendre

CD, Ladd, Hunter, Deebo, Keon, Palmer, ADM

Ertz, Otton

Allen, Caleb

Saquon, Chase, ETN, Allgeier, White

DJM, Waddle, Rome, Shakir, Jennings, Hollywood, M Wilson, Felton

Kincaid, Gesicki, Fannin

This is a really interesting point. The difference between Yahoo ADPs could be affected by the tournament formats on UD, with people aiming for the spike weeks in the final part of the season. I'm also wondering if the Yahoo Expert ranks are influencing the positions where players are drafted as Yahoo displays expert ranks, your own ranks and ADP. Where as UD only shows your ra

It's not that the top 36 WRs are more likely to have more spike weeks than the top 24 RBs, which is roughly the equivalent; WR 36 is right behind RB 21. But rather, it's easier for later contingent RBs to spike due to season chaos than a later WR. WR scoring is mostly about talent and ability to earn targets, especially the high scorers. Market efficiency has improved over time and mostly does a really good job of identifying these WR profiles. RB scoring still requires talent, but it's a position that is more easily given volume than earned volume.

This is one reason that zero RB is a popular strategy. You load up on the early WRs, an elite TE, an elite QB, etc. and then you add a bunch of RBs that can score well if something breaks their way.

For example, Tyler Allgeier is the RB50. If Bijan is injured and Allgeier assumes the lead role, Allgeier immediately becomes a top 15 or so back, based on the expected volume he will receive. He won't score as well as Bijan, because Bijan is simply a better player. But Allgeier immediately has a huge value increase from his current price.

The WRs going in Allgeier's range on UD are Tillman, Thornton, Legette, Wan'Dale, etc. Those players can certainly still spike, but they have a way tougher time doing it consistently and increasing the value on their draft spot. If Tet is injured, how much better will Legette be? If Jeudy is injured, how much better will Tillman be? If Nabers is injured, how much better will Wan'Dale be? Injuries don't necessarily pave the way for WRs like they do for RBs. Targets are mostly earned, not given.

Or in other instances, ambiguous backfields provide opportunity too. The Jags backfield has 3 RBs being drafted between RB 34 and 41. Will all 3 payoff? That's highly unlikely. But I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 or 2 payoff.

So you draft good to great WRs early and then fill in RBs who will score well when things break their way.

The casuals on Yahoo are way more concerned about what things look like today, which makes the higher drafted RBs more appealing, because we know their roles and know they're expected to receive volume. But that can change quickly.

Went with a maybe too fragile hyper fragile build

Went back n forth on Jonnu vs Fannin, the slappy in me wanted Fannin, but I think Jonnu is almost for sure correct

Dak, Goff, Penix

Bucky, Hampton, Breece, Skattebo

CD, Jamo, Olave, Addison, Mooney, Hollywood, Franklin, ADM

Ertz, Likely, Jonnu

I think it can work, but I'd also be happy adding someone like Sampson, Blue, Allgeier, etc. where you added Penix and riding Dak/Goff. The team probably needs 8 WRs, but I'd listen to arguments for adding a RB where you took ADM.

I've been taking Fannin over guys like Jonnu, Otton, etc. to catch up, since I have more of the other guys, but yeah, in a vacuum Jonnu has a better median projection and likely a better ceiling projection. Or maybe not haha.

If Likely was another TE like Strange, Otton, Chig, then I'd opt for Fannin over Jonnu but Likely is kind of Fannin-esque in the expected role, especially with this injury.

Also, Diontae released. Who could have seen that coming!? Somehow I have $76 at 3.9% pre-draft. Those damn 20 round drafts lol. Only have $10 post-draft.

The likely point you made is what pushed me over to Jonnu

I have like 20% Fannin in pre draft and a bunch of Jonnu all over (at bad prices unfortunately) so I was completely split

I have diontae in a couple dynasty leagues and I can’t decide whether to cut him or wait. Probably going to wait

Yeah, I'd hold Diontae in dynasty and see if he gets picked up elsewhere. But seems more likely than not that his career could be coming to an end.

At pick 103, want to end up with Maye and Caleb but QBs are plummeting in the draft

Have 5 WRs and Pittman is there

QBs on the board ahead of Maye are baker, Kyler, Dak, fields, Purdy

Do you take Maye and Caleb or do you take Pittman and take a very small chance that you can take Maye at 114 and push Caleb and still get both?

Second question: Kyler falls to 114 and Maye/Caleb are available. Kyler would be unstacked the other 2 are stacked. Do you take the ADP value or the stack?

I would only take Pittman if I had 3 or at most 4 WRs. Once I have 5 WRs, I'm looking to add guys that have more league winning upside.

So I would take Maye there, as Caleb would be the one more likely to fall of the two.

2nd Q. I wouldn't mind taking the ADP value if Kyler had better back stack options, but I'm never excited about M Wilson, so I'd definitely take Maye or Caleb for the stack. Again siding with Maye since Caleb does have a tendency to fall into the mid 120s.

I'd add Pittman to certain WR rooms if I had injured, suspended, rookies, etc. But if it's a 5 guy room of like JJ, London, Jamo, Hunter, Olave, then na. I'll just take the QB or a RB/TE.

I'll mix Kyler there sometimes, but I'm also fine just taking Maye/Caleb. I do like to mix the ADP fallers in those spots, since the field will mostly be stacking Maye/Caleb with their respective partners and Kyler can score just as well as them in the finals. The fact Kyler gets the Bengals in week 17 is also not talked about enough. I'll then tack on Benson/Wilson but unstacked Kyler is also fine as you're probably mostly losing either way if McBride scores 30 in week 17. A big game from MHJ would be easier to overcome, especially if you already have 5 WRs through 8.

I binked the 10k last year. so doing it again this year. last year I hated my team, and won lol.. this year I like my team, so I'm sure I'm drawing dead

I think the team is solid, but based on you’re wr start I think I’d replace Allen and one of Harris Noel with injury away rb types

No I heard Zay was getting more reps or something, but he's also 30 and sucks. So I'm still leaning towards Wilson if I need a late Cardinals WR for whatever reason.

Had the 1.11 and 1.12 b2b so decided I'd pull up my first 2 picks in each to give myself a unique combo. Went RB/RB in one and WR/WR in the other to give myself different builds.

Yeah, there was buzz like a month ago that Wilson might be falling out of favor and Zay was having a good camp. But I also ignored it after realizing Zay was also on the team last year and was either injured or didn't play much and sucked. Wilson is still my preference, but I have been clicking him less than I was earlier in the summer.

Just found this from a local beat.

I like AJB/Ladd more than Achane/MHJ, especially since AJB and Ladd are almost never drafted together. My favorite pull ups are guys with close to identical ADPs that never fall back to the next picks. It's rare, but MHJ does fall to the 3/4 turn sometimes.

MHJ/Tee probably wouldn't be a bad one, but you really need to nail your 3/4 and 5/6 turn picks, given MHJ/Tee are mostly a 2/3 turn pick with a top 6 first round pick on the roster. And you're probably betting on Chase and McBride injuries. You'd end up with different combos, though.

I agree with jimmy. I think you overdid it at WR and need more RB bullets. I'd also like another QB and TE given that neither of yours are elite and it's a 12 team league, where those positions are more scarce on the wire.

These were 2 back to back picks in my guillotine league… somehow I’ve never made it past week 6 lmao

Lol Judkins in the 5th, or drafted at all, is wild.

The Pointer that UD just dropped is a really nice contest. 2/12, 1/6, 1/3 and a 188 seat final. Against my better judgement, I'm going to fire 7 more slows and live in hell for the next week. I'm still at 150 or so active and am terrified of Thursday, when the clocks decrease to 1 hour. It's going to be bad.
