5/10 Optimal way to play twopair+ when you know they have overpair?

I have 65dd. Open CO. Loose player calls BTN. SB is TAG V makes it 150. We are playing 2500 effective. I make a loose call. BTN also calls.

Pot 450. Flop 652ssc. Have top two pair. Villain is on high cards or overpair. V bets 200. I jam for 2500 and he quickly calls with KsKc. Around 75% favorite here.

Is the optimal play to jam the flop at this stack depth? What if we're 5,000 effective instead?

Any 4 or 3 lets his A4 or A3 get there. Any spade, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 could scare him into thinking i have a better hand. Seemed like there were no good turn cards. Also an overcard to his pair on the turn we're not playing for stacks any longer. On the other hand disaster if he folds KK, luckily this player called.

You're not supposed to give results in your opening post.

You should edit it and end the post before you act on the flop.

You can open 65s in the CO but snap fold to a 150 3bet by the SB. A normal oop raise by the SB is 4x plus callers, or 50. SB is betting three times that! You are burning money really fast with this call.

CO raised and got a caller, so there was probably $75+ in the pot -- $150 sems standard (maybe even small from OOP)?

I kind of like the jam (although it's pretty big) considering how draw heavy the board is -- you could easily be jamming w/ spades or a combo draw. Really depends on reads.

Pre: Easy fold to 3b.
Post: Defo raising as 2p is vulnerable and I'm not looking for Button to peel another card here. Jam is good also might get viewed that you're on a draw especially given this board.

Min-click it to push the BTN out. Pray SB spaz-3B's.

I mean, hard to get any more value than you did lol.

I personally R33-40 with my entire continuing range, but two pair specifically is the one hand where you’d only get more EV when accounting for meta.

Pre is a mix in theory, and in practice it’s really just a matter of whether you can over-realize when squeezed between a reg and a fish. It’s more than possible to do since there’s a lot of EV to be had, but I kinda doubt you are tbh.

This is a good jam, but if I did it the board pairs and I get counterfeited. So, there is risk involved and maybe more than necessary.

A lot of players in my pool hit a hand and get the money in. I see this all the time, so I would get away from kings against this line. I would have to think you’re pretty wild to shove all that with nothing.

Just wondering if villain 3bets to $250, do you still call? It’s not a loose call, with 65 OOP it’s a bad call and that’s why it works. Villain thinks he’s cleared out the low cards with a 3bet.

Villain had invested $350, asked to call $2500. Even as the straight seems unlikely, I fear the sets where I’m way behind. This bad call with KK is a lot worse than your bad call pre-flop.

I agree about the KK. I pretty much snap fold unless H is a complete maniac who's done this before (multiple times) w/ a draw or just to gamble.
