Are my COPAG cards fake?

I though COPAG cards have black packaging with a flower back pattern. This looks way different, any idea?

I was thinking of these

COPAG has recently come out with new packaging, though i haven't seen that one before. Most of the individual decks in new packages are branded "ELITE," though most reviews I've seen say they are the same cards as before.

Those look like the new Euro packaging, but a quick google search shows those saying "Jumbo Index," not "Jumbo Face." I did find a few like yours, but few enough that I fear you might be right about them being fake. One of the adds was for infrared marked cards, though most of the decks advertised are selling for about 10 Euros, so I doubt they are all marked. Still, I'd check those with some night vision goggles or something before I used them for a real money game.

The barcode number matched one from a catalogue from 2020, not sure if maybe the chinese manufacturer copied the barcode over. the packaging the catalog looks similar but different.

these were confirmed to be fake by customer support

It's impressive to see how far down the scale the knock-offs are going now. Used to only be relatively big ticket items from high status brands like Rolex and Gucci.

Ah man, that’s rough — really sorry to hear that. Must feel awful finding out those pricey cards turned out to be fakes after all that excitement. Hopefully you can get some kind of refund or resolution, but yeah… that’s a tough one.
