Not sure if I should go for B/F or X/C on this river. no reads on V.
Betting merits; Value from weaker Kx and maybe sticky PP since the 9 pairs and they probably expect me to X a King.
Xing merits; they get to bluff JT/JQ/QT. floats, BDFD, we get to showdown (depending on size), lose min Vs 9x

I like to range check out of position on flop. It really simplifies our game tree and bad players misplay vs this line. I am not sure if you are range betting 1/3 here because its a King high board, but in theory you are supposed to check > 70% of the time.
In practice, as played at the micros I think this is a very clear triple barrel for thick value. You only really lose to 9x as played.

Is there a reason you aren't opening 3x the big blind?
Shouldn't you be opening to 75 cents?

I don't think I range bet here. I probably X some weaker Kx and PPs and a lot of Spades that miss flop. 1/3b value and backdoor potential hands.

I follow GTO wizard 2.5x opening ranges.
I think the idea is you get to open more hands and capitalise when you do make strong hands. you also save a bit when you fold to 3bets and get better implied odds vs smaller 3bets.
I lean X/C.. lets them punt missed draws and avoids value-owning vs 9x. Betting feels thin unless you’ve seen them station Kx hard.

Where does GTO wizard say to opening 2.5x?
Do you have a link?
Not sure what the rules are on the forum about sharing links. But if you Google GTOWizard and make a free account. I'm sure you can browse the preflop solutions.
Great for getting your RFI and 3bet ranges.
V is playing a broken stack - therefore i expect some fishy behaviour from him. He might be calling with things like 89s/T9s, he might play TT-JJ passive pre, he might overvalue 66-88postflop, he might call preflop with alot of weak suited kings - i feel like i would bet fold, because fish generally dont bluff enough to justify check-calling or bet calling with tpgk here.
Readless, I am inclined to bet again with the intention of bet/folding. I would also bet larger otf and ott to get max value from Kx and the any number of GSSD's this V might have in his range, presumably the flop being more inellastic than turn unless it's somehow diamonds which we block some combos. In any event, I try not to over think and go for 3 streets OOP to get value from Kx, maybe even A3s that gets stubborn. You'd be surprised what you get called with when the board pairs.
