I think when I joined the thread this is the very first song I posted. I listened to it yesterday.

I always use it in conjunction with vaporized indicaflower juice.

same for me, probably multiple times in the jazz thread
my imagination struggles to compehend the music John and Alice would have created together if only they had more time

Miles' Second wife Betty

This song by The Dramatics is a guilty pleasure of mine

Polar opposite from their song In The Rain

New Wolf Alice album is sublime

Broken YouTube Link

I put this on out of curiosity only because this is the model of Wurlitzer organ alice coltrane used.

Then the lad set me adrift on waves of wurlitzer bliss.

Great find. A+

interesting how that word leads our collective memories toward the original wailing version of the following song

willingly ingoring all that to post a cover organized by Norah and Nelson because i was jonesing to hear it again

When I'd hear this song on 70s radio, I thought they we calling it the "Whirl it surprise," and thought it was a cool name for a song.

Ring my Bell was a big hit for the disco freaks of the 80s

But Spoiled by Your Love deserves just as much love for being a true soul deep cut. Take note, disco freaks

I saw Casino Royale at the drive-in back in 1967, and I loved it then and still do. Such a great cast with a number of actors playing Bond.

A little story. I was visiting my mom in an assisted living home about ten or so years ago. An old married couple couldn't remember a song they were thinking of but could remember the tune. So I sang it for them.

Here's how it was done in Casino Royale.

My cousin Ray had a Wurlitzer when I was a kid. I spent hours on that thing, making all sorts of noise lol...never learned to play an instrument, especially that, but it was fun pushing all those buttons.

Tried singing this for my mom once and she slapped me and told me she was dissappointed

I assume she was referring to your rendition of the song not doing it justice? 😃

Rebecca Black is pretty good though.

Pretty sure youtube didn't even exist the last time I heard this song - and yet it's youtube who brings us together again.

I'd rather not talk about it.

I'm not sure if "out-StrayCatting the Stray Cats" is the official and legal term, but either way, that's what Kim does.

So this week my Simon and Garfunkel/Paul Simon playlist hit the old ipod and it been going all week long as I have album every Simon has been involved with. He will go down in history with Bach, Beethoven and Mozart and never be forgotten.
