Two Hands of Bingo at MGM Springfield

Bingo at MGM Springfield: 500 dollar high hands every 20 minutes, with tax-free rollovers! 75 people on the waiting list. Mostly regulars because they knew about the promo and got a seat. Rake is 6 + 3 capped at 60, no flop, no drop.

No 3 betting. Little action in raised pots. Big action in limped pots on the turn and river, when people decide now to play for stacks??? V1-5 are loose-passives. V6 is an excellent player, plays 2/5, the only other 3-bettor on the table. He admits he too is calling too much to win the hand . Neither he nor I have 3bet.

Hero has an aggressive image. By raising four limper, people openly complain hero is ruining the chances at winning the high hand.

OTTHs

Hand 1

1/2. 125-245 effective.

Button straddle 5. V1-V5. V6 in HJ calls. Hero in the CO hero with AhJc? Button straddle last to act is loose passive.

Hand 2

1/2. Now 60-450 effective. V6 not in this hand.

Hero opens AsTs to 10. Two callers. Blinds calls. Five-way.

Flop (44 after rake): J9Kr

Everyone checks.

Turn: 8r

BB with 340 behind bets 30. Hero? Two yet to act.

Hand 1 I probably make it 50 or something.
Get it in if hit tp.
Get it in if less than pot size on flop vs 1 or 2 players.

Hand2 fold. preflop maybe try 20 open lol.

Knowing positions, stack size for each player, board and pot size would be helpful.

H1:
Is it just V6 limp and BTN straddle behind? If so I'm almost certainly raising to 20.

If V1-V5 also limped, eh, probably fold or limp along and pray. Or you could get very spicy and shove.

H2:
What position are you in?
Do you have BDFD on the flop?

Pre: I don't love open to 10 here, not only because of the rake but I just don't think it's doing much other than making the pot bigger. We could even think about limp/3bet.

Flop: I might bet 15, esp. if I have BDFD. Checking mostly though.

Turn: I might call a lot because we have 8% to stack anyone with a T and it's very likely we see the river. Folding seems fine though, as we can't really bluff any cards and even an A on the river just puts us in bad spots.

Note that they used to be the only place that also had the rule of only taking a drop if the pot was over $10. Not sure if that's still true.

Also, and I know this should really be in https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/199/v... or a similar thread, but...

My hours are _way_ down at MGM (like near zero, over the last year).
Personally would rank it significantly worse than Foxwoods to play/win at, esp. occasional play.

I see most of the better MGM regs. at Mohegan now, and most of the people I saw who went occasionally stopped going before I did.

Could maybe be convinced to try it again at a worthwhile day/time, esp. as I never even look at their promos anymore.
But I would think deeply about your choice to play there.

Hand 1 V6 called. He later admitted it was weak.

Hand 2 Hero is UTG. No spade on the flop. I do not have all the stack sizes.
