The murder of Charlie Kirk
Can we all admit that the majority of extremism is coming from the left over the last handful of years?
Apparently they j
-She is still pushing that the entire Robinson backstory is fake and Israel (Joos) is behind it. And constantly using the kind of rhetoric you are critical of, aimed either directly or indirectly at Joos; calling them demons and devils and saying they "we" will get revenge. She is literally the worst of all the right wing influencers, even if she did a touching tribute to Kirk.
Your post is more framing my point that even this ghoul is capable of having a moment of humanity to celebrate a person I think it’s clear she loved while many of his “best friends” haven’t up to this point
Also, lol at this being someone he was closely associate with and everyone calling him moderate

I thought that was your point as well.
Nobody whose been lurking in this forum for even two weeks would think you'd like anything about Candace.

In fairness, if most of your peer group speaks like this, the bar to appear moderate in comparison is fairly low.
Are you the same sort of people that defend Trans people by telling people that criticism them they look like Trans?
Also You keep bring up that I must be ugly. Do you find Asian guy ugly? are you against Asian people looks in general or just Asian guy? Do you hate Asian guys. Seem like to me you are being racist. Please stop your hateful comment it really hurt my minority feeling.

So, it appears that those that spent the last couple decades screaming about cancel culture are the new cancel culture. Go figure.
The issue is that they are gaslighting us that there isn't an epidemic of this, and it is actually far violent far leftists who are the victims; when our own eyes and ears see that reality is clearly the opposite of this.
I think the issue is we're being gaslighted into thinking this is an epidemic when it's nothing near that unless we compare our current situation to absolutely no political violence as opposed to degrees of political violence democracies have successfully absorbed without much social upheaval. But as things stand it's probably less than one in a million of the electorate engaging in extreme political violence. That's not an epidemic of political violence in my mind.
An actual epidemic would be if you and I et al were seriously considering engaging in political violence, ie, the mainstream, not outliers. As with the depleted supply of suicide bombers, there simply aren't that many people willing to sacrifice their lives for a cause. And these high profile acts don't produce the sort of cascading effect the perpetrators are hoping for. At best all they seem to do is sometimes inspire other extremists. But at no point is any of this even remotely putting our democracy at risk.
While there are certainly "copy cat" criminals, including murderers, I'm unaware of any that involved killing a celebrity.
The murder of John Lennon didn't cause random psychos to go after Ringo Starr.
Pretty bad example as George Harrison was stabbed 40 times by ...
20 years later. Was it connected?

That's the thing with power: do not allow something to happen ever unless you are ok with the worst people you can think of in society handling that power in the future.
that's it, that's the basic rule.
Ofc the equilibrium in that case is very very little political power is allowed, very decentralized, and no leftist goal can ever be achieved by using the state.
So as a leftist you either attempt to achieve what you wish, and then deservingly suffer everything the opposition does to you with the power you established and normalize, or you ****ing give up and accept that you shouldn't use the violence of the state to achieve your goals and you join the team to eviscerate the power of the state (team libertarian).
But i am not sorry for any leftist who suffers from state power being misused against him: they fully deserve it completly, i hope they suffer a lot.
I'm not saying it was and given the attacker suffered from schizophrenia the actual reasons may not be possible to know. My point was just that it's like the nut low example when the chances of anyone being attacked in those type of attacks are so low and 33% of the remaining Beatles were after Lennon's murder.
Fuentes has positioned himself quite well. His stream on Kirk got crazy numbers. This is a holocaust denying, loud-and-proud variety racist. So the Zionists love him. The conservative mob is looking to Fuentes now because he has shown integrity in spots where no other conservative commentators have. Like when Trump threw all the Jan. 6 crowd under the bus and begged to stay on
And i would say with a lot certainty that there a lot more Nicks roaming around than Kirk. I had at least head of is name being mentioned before. From what I saw, Kirk was a 30 year old Bill orrielly spouting the same half dozen talking points to all his argueors. He was clearly a pawn.
Nick is straight Charlottesville, and there were a lot of those already when the left thought they didnt exist in an meaningful numbers.
In that case they're correct. People who see Kirk as a 'cultural enemy' (an attitude obviously shared with the murderer) have in fact been openly celebrating, and not only in the US. The President of the Oxford Union (a student debating society, m'lud) has made an unpleasant spectacle of himself in just that very way.
We can talk in terms of ratios. The overwhelming number of people who see Kirk as a political enemy have spoken out against political violence. And people like me, who aren't so against political violence (we should be having a war over the environment) but are against adventurism and individuals striking out pointlessly, just don't care either way whether some Charlie Kirk like figure lives or dies or how either happen. There is only a sliver of people who see Kirk as a cultural or political enemy who are actively celebrating his killing.
Contrast this to Kirk himself, who shamelessly celebrated the death of people like George Floyd for years and got only adulation for it from his followers. Or the wink-wink chuffing that went on after innocent Latinos were slaughtered in El Paso Walmart.
We need to stop with the "both sides" nonsense. It if the Right who are killing. It is the Right who have normalized, among themselves anyway, openly celebrating the murder of people who don't agree with them. Sure, nothing is absolute and there are some exceptions to this dichotomy, but let's try to stick to reality while those in control of the algos try to manufacture an alternative version of it.

yeah, seems like the "real" fascists hated kirk because he was an astroturfed fraud, which was the crux of the decade(?)-long feud between him and the fuentes faction. apparently kirk was only really popular with boomers, until maybe recently.
lol wtf

Rabbi Pesach Wolicki, 55, an American-born cleric who lives in Israel, met with Kirk via Zoom on Tuesday night. βHe was excited to get back out on the campus tour,β said Wolicki, who said he often spoke to Kirk before public appearances to advise him on how to βdefend Israel effectively.β βWe became good friends,β Wolicki told The Post, calling the 31-year-old activist βunbelievably courageousβ in the face of so many Gen Z conservatives who βwere turning on Israel.β That βworried the heck out of him,β said the rabbi. βHe held fast and it wasnβt easy.β Often the people who challenged Kirk at events βbombarded him with questions about Israel,β according to Wolicki. βCharlie was always seeking true information,β said the rabbi of his evangelical Christian friend. Hours before the firebrand was assassinated in Utah, the two met online to prepare for the βsmears against Israelβ he would inevitably face during his tour of college campuses. βHe was working out talking points, playing the role of devilβs advocate, pushing us on these issues, trying to sharpen the iron,β said Wolicki, who specializes in Jewish-Christian relations. βHe was in a combative mood,β recalled the rabbi, βwhich is good. He was preparing for debates and attacks.β βCharlie stood alone to a great extent in that whole Gen Z conservative world as far as being pro-Israel,β the rabbi said. βAnd his life would have been a whole lot easier if he wasnβt. βThere were prominent people β¦ actively working to [get him to] drop his support for Israel on a daily basis. And he resisted.β

I would disagree there. Fuentes is a seminal figure on the Right. Kirk was just the social media equivalent of being "good on tv" and was not really as much of a leader. There are lots of Kirks and no other of Fuentes. You don't see politicians as big as Vance acting like the need Kirk's approval, but they are desperate for Fuentes's approval. How do you make a name for yourself as a Holocaust denier and still get a meeting with Trump? Fuentes did that. Kirk was annoying the college aged Left. Fuentes is like mobilizing angry, isolated, white supremacist youth in large numbers. Politicos like Vance who, through contacts like Thiel and Palantir, know it is Fuentes moving the proverbial needle. It would have been far more devastating for the Right if Fuentes was taken out instead.

It's literally the opposite.

No he did not celebrate George Floydβs death he did say he was a scumbag which he was .
No one had to board up their stores after Charlieβs death
Kirk was killed by a domestic terrorist, not by a police officer while in custody.

Has nothing to do with ethnicity. I don't even know (or care) what your ethnicity is.
Don Juan was a man known for his handsome good looks and his way with the ladies.
Unlike Lefties, I don't play the race/gender/ABCDF+ card every three seconds.
Gratuitous Advice : If a random guy in an anonymous politics forum hurts your feelings....it's YOUR fault.
Make it a great day!

"33% of the remaining Beatles" is just so, well: LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!

Actually, your putative counterexample to my claim is an even worse example.
Since Lennon was shot, a stabbing twenty years later kinda undercuts that as an example of a "copy cat" crime.
Maybe you don't know what "copy cat" means? I can provide a link if you want.
