Best live game poker tracker app - 2021

So my poker tracker annual renewal is coming up - the one I'm using now (poker analytics 5) has a $30 annual cost, not a one time purchase.

In the last year I not only played no poker, but they've also released only minor bugfixes, no new features, since last April. That's not exactly what I was expecting when paying an annual maintenance cost.

I was super happy with Poker Journal back in the day, but unfortunately that developer stopped maintaining it and it stopped working a few version of iOS ago.

What are people's thoughts about the best apps / best value in apps for poker trackers as of 2021?

Features I need:
* iOS
* cash game
* can filter and report by date (monthly, annually), and by game (type, size)
* can import from CSV/XML/poker analytics 5 - I have over a decade of history I don't want to lose

Features I personally don't need, but if it has them, great:
* Hand histories
* Player notes
* Tip trackers
* The ability to group sessions into trips, track expenses on trips, etc.
* Currency converters

Anyone have opinions?

Sorry to bump this old thread to promote my own app. I came across it while searching, and my app ticks all of the required features, and all but one of the nice-to-haves, so I thought it was relevant. I apologise if it’s not okay—feel free to delete if so.

I develop a bankroll tracking app called Poler for iPhone (find it here:

). I’m trying to make a quality app that’s easy to use and not full of ads. It has all of the features that you mentioned, except for a hand recorder (which is on the roadmap for the near future).

Others have mentioned in this thread about data backups: your data is backed-up to your own iCloud, so you know it’s always safe. You can also export your data to CSV to back it up, or analyse it outside of the app.

There is a subscription to use the app. I know some won’t like that. But as a few have mentioned here, there seem to be a number of bankroll tracker apps that stop getting supported and cease to function, in the worst case meaning you lose access to your data. That’s probably partly because it’s super hard to make an app like this that’s financially viable. If people don’t want to pay for the app, it’ll probably die out. Poler is being actively developed, with new features coming regularly.

Another thing about the subscription: OP, you mentioned that you didn’t play much for a long period. With Poler, you can stop subscribing at times like this, and you will always keep access to the data you have in the app (including reports etc), you just won’t be able to add any new data. When you start playing again, you can subscribe again. I think this is pretty fair.

Anyway, the app ticks most of the boxes that have been mentioned in this thread, so of course I’d love it if any of you checked out the app. I’m also super open to feedback—I’m really trying to make something sustainable that actually does what poker players want.

There’s a support thread in the Poker Software forum, where you can also get a discount on the subscription: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/167/p...

Thanks for posting.

I am (kinda surprisingly to me haha) the OP. I am actually still just using my google spreadsheet since 2021.

I only play maybe every couple of months now, except when I take a poker trip (when I have like 8 sessions in 3 days haha) which I recently took 2 of. So my usage whips back and forth.

I’ll definitely give your app a shot next time I have a few moments to try importing. The semi pro option might work for me, and has a reasonable annual price, but I think I might run afoul of the limits on my poker trips.

Oh, interesting! I suppose that might be quite a common use case, actually. Someone who mostly plays infrequently, but every so often takes a trip where they play a lot. Maybe I'll play around with the limits for semi pro to accommodate that kind of scenario.

I hope you find it useful if you do check it out. Let me know if you have any feedback if you do.

Any updates to this?

Have been tracking my sessions in notes then transfer to a spreadsheet on my computer. Looking for free option to help me with this. Don’t need anything fancy. Just capture session details and export csv. I do want to have ability to edit past sessions and add past session

Downloaded Bink. Just started looking at it. Seems to check my boxes but no other opinion yet. Other options I am considering is just using numbers to edit my ss from the cloud
