[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread

Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

Call telephone support, they are really great despite how poor the email support is.

What state are you guys located in

Nevada but likely Pennsylvania in next few months.

i put in a bunch of volume last month but im not seeing any change to my tier credits on the Caesars app. in the cashier it shows my account is linked. anyone else have this issue?

I had this issue at the beginning of 2024 and it took me having to threaten the gaming commission on them to get a resolution. Eventually (after 2 months of back and forth), they gave me my tier credits. All I wanted was platinum for free parking at WSOP. If you go back to April-May 2024 in this thread you'll see the saga.

I would reach out to them via email but understand that it's probably going to take 4 or 5 emails back and forth before they fully understand what the problem even is, and you'll probably have to wait 2-10 days for each response. That's just what WSOP.com support is. With any luck it will be ironed out in 2-3 months for you. Good luck!

Thank you.

Fastest withdraw ever? Requested at 6:34AM. Approved and got via PayPal at 6:46AM. $400 12 minutes. Wow.

There is a certain player right now who has been playing 100% of the time I login for the last month or so at least. 2/5 5/10. If that player is a human kudos to them for all that volume, but I am skeptical. Anyone else notice this?

Who is it?

I'm not going to say in the case that it is a bot and the person running it is fishing for info. Additionally- I have no interest in libeling someone who is legit. I'm just trying to see if other regs might have noticed the same thing. I've already put in an inquiry to WSOP support.

Anyone else having problem installing update?

Then why bother to post.

He just said the guy is playing at all times he logs in. Just go look in the lobby and see who is playing for 14+ hours multiple days in a row, will almost certainly only be 1 person

In case of a financial meltdown in the stock market/ US economy- I think Caesars Entertainment owns the WSOP online site- is there a chance they would go under and people would lose what deposits they have? What I'm getting at is how solid is Caesar Entertainments financial position? Because if there is a sudden collapse, they could immediately block all withdrawls (or slow them down drastically). Just curious on what some of you might have to say.

Obviously this. And its more than a 14 hour spread too because I vary my schedule dramatically depending on the day. I've logged in at 7am sometimes and midnight other days. The player has been there every time. I am seriously starting to wonder if it plays 24 hours a day and security is just utterly incompetent.

They are governed by the gaming board. They have to by law keep your deposits/balances separate. Not saying this is 100% protection but its not Full Tilt 2011.

Gotcha, thank you!

And thanks to Pokerstars, even the Full Tilt Ponzi had a happy ending.

I think everyone got their bankroll after a few years wait. It was a bit nerve wracking filling my claim for an illegal offshore account with the DOJ but it all worked out.

Yes and I agree with your skepticism.

Here's my question (BTW.. I'm not doubting you and appreciate your vigilance):

Who is smart enough to write a program for a poker bot (it's not impossible, but it's not easy and requires a multi variate skill set) and then be stupid enough to let the program run 22 hours/day on a single screen name?

This seems less plausible to me than complete and total degenerate or online pro putting in an inconceivable amount of volume.

BTW, I assume this is NL you're talking about because I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary in the PLO games.

I suspect more that its a combination of the two things we are saying. Back in the day I played with OBORRA on stars when he was running RTA and playing insane volume. What I think happens is that all their decisions are determined by a computer so the playing is just mindless money printing and they don't have the attrition regular regs will have with thinking and executing their strategy. Thus they can play endlessly and so they do because... greed.

And could actually be 2 people in shifts doing this

Just a headsup that there is one player at 2/5+ NL cash on WSOP who engages in seat changing - LeBronDunks. He does it at nearly every opportunity to get position on fish and no other regs do it. It's shady and he needs to stop.

You can't be serious. Seat changing is NOT against T&C's in any capacity.
