Side Pot - I know I made a mistake...or did I?

Not a huge hand and I know I should have held my hand until after showdown, but do I have a claim to the side pot?

Board runs out Ks 6s 5c 3d Qs, I have 74 off for the straight, one player was all in on the turn, $350-400 main, $20-30 side pot after river.

Third player in 8 seat says "no pair, you're good", I announce "straight" in 3 seat and show my cards to 2 seat. I was sure he had a flush and he tables 7s4s. Dealer pushes him the pot (obviously dealer should push side pot first), I muck my hand. Seat 8 is still holding his cards and dealer then pushes him the side pot.

Im easy going and I know I should have tabled my hand. I also know the dealer should have asked to see side pot hands first. But the other player had, effectively, conceded the pot and the all in was too fast to show his rivered flush.

It was a small side pot, so I let it go and didnt make a stink. BUT, had it been larger should I have called the floor? Do I have any claim? I feel like my error was bigger than the dealers and any angle by the third player was mostly unintentional.

No. Never tabled your hand, and it's neither identifiable nor retrievable.

Oops. Good thing you learned on a small one.

Your cards are your receipt for the pot. Don't give up your cards unless your portion of the pot is pushed to you.

Just show your hand. Stop trying to play stupid live player games.

Nah, "you're good" was your prompt to show your cards. A untabled live hand beats a mucked hand, pair or no pair.

This. Putting your cards face up and therefore in view of the camera in the sky is never a bad thing in this situation. Someone is all in after all and the betting is finished. I made some good points about this in another thread and everyone pretty much agreed with me.
