Who thought this man was reg then?
Giselle is waiting for action right now
Sad to see AsianFlushie lose the $8m match against Monarch, he was playing HU on a way higher level making sick plays.
He was playing great, but it doesn`t matter when you decide to take a very marginal spot for pretty much all the marbles.

Not about wether he take marginal spots or not, clearly that's how u get high wr in poker. Think the general public has been absurdly resultsoriented in the monarch duels like people just expect him to lose every single one just because he is out matched. Flushie winning 3 out of 5 matches doesnt seem that bad or surprisingy, was just super unlucky in the last big one.

Didn't watch the match so no idea how he lost but taking on marginal spots in a $8m hu match is very different from taking on marginal spots at your normal stakes esp if it's vs tougher competition where you need to do that more
Potentially if your edge is big enough you can take on fairly few marginal spots esp in games that you're way under BR'd for
yea, that 88 call was not good. considering who he was playing. why do a coinflip when u have that huuuge edge.
I agree that he should wait for better spots, but maybe he didn't want to get outplayed in a live stream vs a whale and be embarrassed in folding that hand in case he was against random cards or smaller pair

Yea, that's the battle all poker players fight is vs their ego
Like if he's playing Linus hu at 100/200 where he's likely over bankrolled to play, you can take on a lot of marginal spots and basically say..."I can handle the variance and I'm not gonna let you outplay me here"
In a $4m buy in game where I assume he's massively under bankrolled to play, he very likely can't handle the variance and doesn't want to take unnecessary gambles if he knows there's a good chance he will have much better spots later. But the ego doesn't want to be pushed around ever
Hopefully flushie reads this thread so he can get all this advice from the paupers itt

Kind of silly to say he's massively under bankrolled imo, You don't know his deal, what % he had, heck he could have been fully backed without risking anything and given a small %.

I didn't say that, I said "I assume". Considering his main stakes online seem to be 100/200nl then yes, he would be massively under bankrolled for a $4m buy in SNG if that is the highest stakes he is comfortably BR'd for. I have 0 idea what % he has or how big his edge is. Maybe his play was fine, I didn't even see the hand. My statement and point reamains and was simply that the bigger your edge the less marginal situations you need to put yourself in, esp if you're in a situation where you're under bankrolled. The more BR'd you are for any game you're playing the more you can take on marginal spots even with a large edge
He is clearly broke. Ossi broke him ...
Asianflushie is one of the biggest winners in Macao, he will be fine.
And Giselle is omaha4rollz.
Random Q, Owen Messere/Prodigy, what was his SN on Stars? I slightly remember him beefing with jason mo and crew
LOUL, not really difficult to figure out, o4r was playing 10 hours /day with the old SN, he dissapeard , and just after a guy playing the same games with infinite BK poped up and play all day long for months, such a coincidence.
he was doing a lot a weird play before, he is just doing much more cause of terrible run/ tilt loosing that much
