2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Liam would have hit if that very first catch would have been reviewed and overturned lol. But yeah, I never really thought Reek was trending towards washed, so I kept drafting him hoping the offensive environment would be better. Especially once Jonnu was traded. Tua, the o line, play calling, etc. are all bigger problems. At least they’ll be playing from behind most games sinc
My biggest concerns with Tyreek are his off field issues and and attitude.
Maybe, but they won't have time to use it and both of them are absolutely terrible at handling pressure. And an arm is only as good as the accuracy.
I'm guessing at some point Tua will be benched if it continues to look like this, but I don't expect it to be better for anyone given what we've already seen from Zach and given what we saw from Ewers in college.
I would downgrade every piece if Tua is benched.
I'm not worried about off field issues for the 2025 season at this point. He just keeps fading them lol. The attitude is certainly a concern with where this is headed. I also drafted him in best ball knowing there is a chance to be traded. Kind of like Davante last season.
If they're going to make a switch, Wilson would certainly be preferred over Ewers. Something will give sooner or later.

He keeps fading them but he also introduces new ones.
I drafted him in best ball knowing he still has the nuclear game capability.
The problem with Tua is that he is relegated to being more of a game manager because he doesn't have the time to get it down field. He benefits Malik Washington and Achane. I think these guys take a hit if Zach is the QB and Hill gets more boom/bust capability. Zach can at least extend the play with his legs. Tua is obviously the best QB for this team in regards to winning games.
I'm gonna start playing some Quinshon in DFS. I'll admit this is somewhat a hedge against my horrific mistake during draft season when I passed on him for Jaylen Wright. I know how this goes. I will be max punished for my malfeasance. I still remember having Pat Mahomes qued up in round 11 during a 2018 draft. At the last second I noticed Isaiah Crowell was still available and just had to take him. The next guy snap selected Pat and the rest is history. I've suffered with PTFSD ever since. thank goodness I have DFS now where at least I can have a little happiness if Quinshon goes Pat this year.
I think I’d probably wait until next week before going to the Judkins well. But I think he will have some nice low owned opportunity as people are slow to work him into lineups.
The Cromwell PTSD is real
Haha, I think Judkins will likely be good, but I don't want any part of that GB defense.

This is why I wanted to play him. I agree with your very reasonable/rational take about waiting a week. I think most people feel that way. I was looking at it from a silly for the milli type of way. This should be an avoid against the Green Bay D. I thought maybe I could slip him in there at a low ownership and maybe he Chubba Hubbards his way to fantasy points. The problem is he's not as cheap as I thought he would be. This could be still be a contrarian play. Maybe he is the real deal. If he is super low owned I'll give it a shot.
Don't forget, the fantasy gods rarely miss an opportunity to punish me for my stupidity.
The fantasy gods are unforgiving.
The Dallas/Chicago game is gonna be the chalk this week in DFS.
The Bronco/Charger game has the second highest o/u on the slate. Nix and Herbert look to be low owned. The narrative is that these are two good defenses so avoid the skill players. The 46 o/u says that this could be a shoot out.
Something to think about if you are looking for a pivot or a way to get different.
Nice seats!
Always good to see the cowboys catch an L
Well, no surprise, my eliminator team with only 3 RBs got shellacked. Got another team down by 3, but with no one from tonight's game.
My final teams is up by 19 and has Jamo vs Monty remaining, so fingers crossed for that one.
My Elim team currently has 76 points lol. I have Lamar and Nuk still to play, but I don’t stand a chance. The guy I’m playing has Tucker.
On another note, I profited $3 across 71 UD entries.
And made some bad sit/start decisions in managed.
Fun week!
Thread is surprisingly light on 'Troy Franklin is a league winner' posts this morning
Lmao
As expected in 1 dynasty league that im tanking in, im 3-0 and in another dynasty league where im all in , im 0-3
The fantasy gods are sick and twisted. My managed teams are a mixed bag right now.
Need to fade 12.8 from Jameson Williams to avoid an 0-3 start, quite the pickle when you are also a Lions fan.
Turns out taking a QB early and using a 3rd on Kittle and a 5th on Rashee Rice not a winning formula early on
Good luck! Tough run so far, but hopefully it turns around.
Interesting graphic below.
