Thoughts on this?
5 remain - chip leader had 65bbs. 2nd has around 45. I'm shortest, only by a smidgen with 14.5bbs. Next two have 15.5 and 17.
5th pays $650. 4th is $850, 1st pays $2450.
Folds to me in the SB with A8o. BB has 15.5bbs.
What's the play? Nash would dictate this being a standard shove. How about when we factor in everything else, especially with the pressure being put on the BB who if calls, is essentially out in 5th, so their calling range (to me) should be very, very tight.

I think it's still going to be a shove. BB should be calling very tight and you remove one of the aces from the deck. You should be getting a huge number of folds here.

I shove here with basically any Ax hand. Life happens.
I once shoved final 3 in the SB with K5o because I was having terrible bladder issues. But I did have 13 blinds and Martin Staszko woke up with 88 in the BB and I was finally able to catheterize. And no this wasn't at the final table of the 2011 WSOP Main Event... Apparently Martin won the tournament a hand or two later when they both had 88 and Martin hit a flush...

I probably would have limped and folded. But it is very borderline for me. Martin had about 30 blinds and the other guy had like 20 or 25. So I was the short stack.

I would shove pretty light here. Hard for BB to call. You are taking a risk, but BB doesn't have FE and has to call a tight range.
