Definitely overplayed this hand
Flop absolutely smashes BB's range and totally misses ours. You know that scene in the Matrix where Keanu dodges all those bullets?
Yeah, that's us on this board.
The check on the flop is fine and pretty standard
On the turn I prefer check-calling. Our hand on this board isn't really a good bluffing candidate because Villain is swimming in straights, two-pair, and sets. All of which we're drawing dead to, unless we bink a spade. It's also a tiny bet and this hand is ripe for a check-call, but raise is going to be significantly losing EV (also consider the times we do hit a flush and Villain makes a tight fold on river)
The overbet on the river is torching money on fire. If we check-call again then there is a chance we're chopping with sets that have just been counterfeited. As played this probably isn't the case given the huge amount of filtering that's occurred. It could still be the case that we were bluffed off the chop, but I think calling here with the hope of breaking even on the hand is not worth it on this board. I guess this is usually {T9s, 98s} for value and a dusting of {J9s}?

In fact on turn I aim for all his straights, I don't think he will always call a 7 without a spade in here, of course I'm kind of self-leveling in here. Not sure if I should give up on river, but I think the size should be fine, I'll play all the Q+ flush the same. But the river raise is really confuse me, maybe only K high flush ?
Turns out he have 7s8s
