Tracking my results
Hi, ITT I want to keep track of my results over 2025. Currently my roll is at 4.2k I play 50 PLO, 4, 5 and 6 card, maybe
I got banned from twitch today for making a charly kirk joke...
won a bit in the 200PLO6 and the 215$ big bounties... roll 12856
lost a number of buyins at 200PLO6, roll 12150
Wsop next year? Clean up in juicy cash games..
blegh, lost nearly a k today... 11280
managed to lose another k... 10210... don't know what's happening, feels like I can't hit a flop and getting outplayed at every turn. also was quite a lot below all in ev yesterday. Going to take a break or possibly cash out. don't know if that's a healthy response to a 10-15 buy in downswing...
Play lower to regain confidence (imo)
I'll split a healthy response into two subsections.
Firstly, the healthy poker response is having a poker software tracker. I've noticed a 67/33 rule in my poker play. I win about 2/3 of the times I play and I about lose 1/3 of the times I play. And that includes swings in either direction. If you looked up your play you would probably find plenty of 10-15 buy-in upswings. But you are probably experiencing entitlement issues where you think you deserve the upswings without the downswings. Or, at the very least, you aren't using a poker software tracker and noticing these swings and properly adjusting you attitude to accept that for every two times you have a 10-15 upswing you are going to also have a 10-15 downswing. Simply cowboy up and accept the swings in either direction and put in the yearly volume to become ultra wealthy.
Secondly, the non-poker related response is to go touch some grass. We are in the 9th month of the year. I can think of at least 9 good movies that have come out this year. If you have a crazy bad poker session where you rage quit for the day, then go see a movie or something. Already have a rage quit game plan of something else to do for rest of that day. Then just as above, the next day, simply cowboy up and accept the swings in either direction and put in the yearly volume to become ultra wealthy.

You're probably right that it's a form of entitlement tilt. Getting used to running good and feeling "insulted" that all of a sudden you're missing every flop... Good read!
