Suspicions and Evidence: I played against five opponents who exhibited strong signs of being bots:
1. Identical Account Creation Dates: All five players had accounts created on the same day, which seems highly unlikely for independent human players.
2. Uniform Gameplay: Their strategies, bet sizings (e.g., always 3x preflop), and action timings (e.g., near-instant decisions) were identical across sessions. No variation, which doesn’t align with human play.
3. No Chat Interaction: I tried engaging them in the in-game chat multiple times, but none responded or used emotes, which is unusual for a private club.
Context: I joined the club through an agent (a friend) who later admitted there was a strong suspicion of bots from the start. I noticed red flags on August 18 and continued playing through August 24 to gather evidence (and, admittedly, to try recovering losses and out of ego). After ~700 hands, the patterns were clear. I’ve refused to pay my losses until ClubGG investigates, as I believe the game was unfair. The agent claims he’s winning by exploiting these “bots,” but hasn’t shared specific stats or strategies to back this up.
