Loose call pre lands us in hot water

Loose call pre lands us in hot water

1/3 NLHE 6 handed

People are moving around between tables so this hand is six ways. Game is fairly loose passive.

Yeah, river fold may be good. She turned top set into a bluff.

The main mistake was not realizing that limp/3! is usually AA/KK without strong reads. Kind of bad to call the 3! and then call down with top pair.

Everything you've said about this woman makes it a fold.

By far the worst part of the hand is the call preflop. Lol wtf. Do you hate money?

Yeah, this was AA/KK played face up. This is a 1/3 game, and villain figured the fish wouldn't fold to a 3! and would call down with top pair. Maybe people should be limp/3!ing with balanced ranges, but that isn't generally true in practice. Is it possible to fold to the 3! and say goodbye to the $15?

KJo is about the nut worst hand you would raise with to call a 3! with anyway. You want to be able to make a set, straight or flush against a strong range. With KJo, you can make top pair, which is often dominated, which is exactly what happened.
