I stumbled across another analysis of political terrorism that is interesting and includes a list of every incident they included in their dataset:

This only includes politcally motivated killings rather than all political terrorism but goes into detail about their justification for what they chose to include/exclude. Interestingly for 2025 it has only 3 left-wing incidents vs 5 in the other study (which might be because the other study included incidents with no deaths but I'm not sure) but also had 2 right-wing incidents vs only 1 in the other study. I assume that means the initial study doesn't include the Antioch High School shooting as right-wing motivated terrorism (because there's no way it didn't include the Hortman killings), which would be a bit wild given everything we know about the perpetrator.
Calling Rosenbaum left wing is questionable at best. He appeared to be an opportunist agitator looking to kill / be killed
