Also true for the vast majority of Americans.
living in the heart of the empire is gonna have advantages. but even so, USA quality of life isn't that great.
we work tons of hours. terrible benefits, holidays, security(for a first world country).
tons of mental illness, mass shootings, homeless, imprisoned, suicide
11% live below the poverty line... which is 32k for a FAMILY OF FOUR! jfc 😮
and 15k for one person.
I mean double that, and people are still struggling ****... so that alone proves your "vast majority" wrong.
and 2% in prison or on parole.
60% disaproval rate of the president for like past 20 years straight.

my life is agony... and largely because of governmental policy. it's literally why father's side of the family is just obliterated. genocidal policy of residential schools.

it was govt policy to take kids at gunpoint and send them to residential schools, for the openly stated purpose of genocide. you never heard of this? there are unmarked mass Graves at the schools. these kids were tortured and raped. some kids were there for 18 years straight with no visits.
the last school closed in 1977
it's a huge reason that alcoholism and addiction and suicide or so common in natives. it takes generations to recover from something like that, and be able to be functioning people, let alone good parents.
my dad killed himself. he was unable to be a good dad. his sisters and brother killed themselves too. it's hard to have a happy life when that is your family history.
and the people who did this are the heroes of the country. their names are everywhere. their faces are carved on mt Rushmore(which was a sacred Lakota site, six grandfathers). statues, holidays, whatever... and not just the old ones, but like Jimmy Carter was president when this **** was still going on.
and just the other day, secretary of war... whatever the **** his name is.. he said that the soldiers in wounded knee should all get medals... I mean wounded knee was the slaughter of a village of just people, kids.
and our politicians are signing their names on bombs being dropped on kids in palestine

we have so many businesses and neighborhoods that are whites only. it's not legal policy, but when you go there, it's only white people. except the workers, they won't be white.

I do believe it's like 99.9% of us are on the same side against our overlord opressors... I mean there are 10%ish who are the lapdog of the oppressors. so maybe 90% of us against them. but even those 10% should be on our side.
and really even the 0.1% would be better off if they joined us, instead of exploited us
So Filthy, what's the solution? How are you going to get your ship righted? Have you tried to get help?

I mean it's something I've been struggling with my whole life. I had a huge breakthrough(when I hit rock bottom) in the 90s. it was change or die. and I was lucky enough to have a huge supportive community at the time. I got a lot of love, care, and help. tons of therapy, meds. took me about a decade of work, but I was able to get to a place where as long as I stuck to my regimen of social activity, sleep, diet, and exercise I was good! that lasted about 15 years, but the pandemic hit, and my regimen got blown up. I wasn't able to do the things I needed to do.
been trying to get back on track ever since. but losing my brother last year, and my sister the year before has made things hard. having a lot of trouble with my gf too. I'm just not as motivated to heal as I was before. before I had a lot more years in front of me to fight for.
I'm still able to find tons of joy in little, simple things... my gf's golden retriever, walks in Malibu creek state park, food, tv, pog, had the best day ever with my gf the other day. we kind of just randomly went on a date together for no reason, spur of the moment, and it was soooo much fun! and also, alcohol, weed, gambling, Xanax and caffiene. stuff like that.
but sometimes the pain is overwhelming. and maybe I put too much blame on racist governmental policy, and the racists who empowered them... and the bystanders who just casually support capitalism that is destroying us all. I'm sure I should take more responsibility, and work to better my situation. just sometimes I'm not up to it.
