I'm never sure where to rank Dylan in the pantheon of Dylan interpreters.

I would go something like

3. Bob Dylan

The Captain's harp playing is underappreciated imo

I developed a great appreciation for Trout Mask Replica at a young age but I just recently started getting into a bunch of his live performances and his oevre is more varied than I had thought. This performance stopped me dead.

If you haven't heard Trout Mask Replica, it is literally the highest Art ever produced out of Rock music. Fast and bulbous. Tight also.
